Title: I LOVE BITCOIN
Post by: nokati on January 17, 2018, 05:28:27 PM
Just seeing how difficult btc gets under 10k and fight back just showed me that there are still a lot of people that really are in bitcoin because of bitcoin and not because how much usd you can get for it. Sure everyone compare it value to usd as a reference but that so many people HODL because they believe in a superior monetary system that can gives freedom to many people around the glob is just beautiful  ;D

You are talking like an owner of a dog describing his pet having cancer and fighting back. The "fighting back" could have something to do with what time it is in certain corners of the world at the moment. One man's sunset is another man's dawn.

Forget HODLing, BTC is on sale. BUY BUY BUY!

Its Christmas time.... I just got some extra btc, eth, xmr and siacoin for a good deal, its funny that everyone saying its to late and too expensive to get in when price is up and the same people keep nagging that its Armageddon time and they are not going to buy because its crashing. Lol

My own friend got some btc last week and was complaining that he was regretted that he didn't listen to me couple of years ago to buy and now its too expensive. He just called me for advice asking if he should get out as everything is crashing..... I told him this is exactly the right moment to buy but as expected he is totally stressing. Funny thing is that he owns only 250 euro worth of bitcoin (his car is 30000 euro) and he is totally freaking out about his bitcoin. I love bitcoin  ;D

New investors don't know how cryptocurrencies markets behaves, and he's frightened by the dip in bitcoin price. - 30% in two days is huge for some markets but not for bitcoin.

Yes, resistance at below $10K is doing good, breaking that wall is a mental barrier for all of us, however its going up and down so I think we are going to see it hovering around that price for the meantime. Until such time that it will consolidate pushing the price to $10.5xx and even further.

There's a lot of FUD around that forum saying that bitcoin will go to $7K-$8K, but I have fun watching the price going below $10K then going back above it.

And then there's bitcoin is dead argument. LOL. How many times have we seen bitcoin recovered from all of this crashed? Yes, holding is really the right way in this trying times. I'm sure that bitcoin will appreciate us for not selling because the price will go up again in the next coming weeks.

In all likelyhood it may take until end of January for the price to get up to the 15k+ level again (judging by how the price has historically acted during this time of year), and that might be frustrating for a lot of people. But again, if we're judging based on history, the price will be at a new ATH by mid-end of February. Just a few weeks to go boys and girls. Hang tight. If you have extra money to throw around, this is a prime opportunity to get in and double or triple your money in just a few weeks.

Yup. This is the right way to go. So many people can repeat buy low sell high but they get too scared to buy when everything is low. Pretty foolish of them.

People also hear about all of these stories where others get rich off of crypto. Those others are the same people who bought crypto when it was low, and seeing these prices now are basically just opportunities opened for those who want to get rich as the others did. You can easily double your money if you play your cards right and buy now because of the low points. Worst case, with Bitcoin, you break even because the 10k holding point is pretty damn strong.

Many people are in for the money but at the same time many people think of bitcoin as the currency of the future and they are not going to sell no matter the price since they think that in the future nothing is going to be more valuable than bitcoin and fiat will be worthless.

i love bitcoin too, even though its price drops considerably, we know that its price will rise and still in the next few days, I'm no longer worried about the fall of the price, because I use this opportunity to buy a bitcoin at a cheap price instead of selling and just wait for the price jump.

Indeed, those who could not part until now believe that bitcoin is the solution to all problems. Despite the fact that the market is already all red, but it's just ridiculous to keep it, while I'm sure that buying it was much more expensive than the current rate.

Me too, i love bitcoin, but not because it is giving me money, only because of the huge opportunities that i am having right now (always talking about money management, of course) because you do not need to carry more fiat anymore, as an example.

I also hold because I seriously believe in bitcoin. Yesterday I force some of my friends to buy bitcoin because I was able to Educate them that now provides the best opportunities for one to buy bitcoin and not when it is too high. Bitcoin is the currency of the future and I seriously believe this fact and in 5 to 10 years to come we would have to see this reality come to pass.

the thing about bitcoin's demand is that most people who happen to also be silent investors with wise money, they don't care about these short term dramas that bitcoin has. they know the facts and that is enough for them to invest. facts such as the scarcity of bitcoin due to its limited supply. the fact that bitcoin is a decentralized currency that nobody can control and will give them  effectively freedom over their finances. and a lot more.

so when there is a dip like this, they happily increase their shares of this limited supply currency. and guess what in a couple of years people will call it "unfair" that they have more bitcoin than them just like they are calling those who were buying at $10 "unfair" right now.

Off course bitcoin will sure fight back and will recover even thought if it takes a lot of months to come back up to $18,000, This is goes to show that bitcoin will never end and would go beyond our expectation in the coming months, I really think bitcoin had this kind of issue every January then pump again this coming February let's see if it will went to the $20,000 mark.

I'm not sure what you mean by it being decentralized. In theory, it was decentralized. However, when the market is able to be manipulated by bots it's not decentralized. It's able to be controlled by people who own the most.  Take the top 100 holders of bitcoin, they own approx. 40% of the entire market!

I understand you're excited about BTC and like you, I'm excited about the crypocurrency idea. I would be far more excited to invest in BTC if the team driving the development of BTC would actually fix the bigger issues we still see with it - transaction fees! At it's current state, it's simply NOT a viable means of making purchases. transactions take far too long, and cost WAY too much. Beyond that, what is BTC really worth? If you can't use it other than buying and selling on an exchange... what's it good for? How can it command it's current value? In my humble opinion, it doesn't.  At least not until these issues are addressed.

True Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are extremely volatile and this dip is nothing special.

BTC's movement is very normal it will go down and up because it is fluctuating you can see it in the past and on it's recent movement, bitcoin is here to stay, I don't think that we need to get afraid because of the recent dip on bitcoin because there is no big news about how they get into the red zone, And I think countries that are banning BTC in my opinion is just very common to happen.

China is banning btc at least 3 times a year, every year ;D

Its funny and sad the same time that all new bitcoin users believe in the FUDs.

Lightning network is going to change the bitcoin in the next couple of months so drastically and real world wide adoption is pretty close. We just had a big step back because of btc/bch and fee costs etc... But future is really bright.
