Am I insane? any suggestions?

If you pay for it with BTC you should wait some more time till next phase start... When btc will raise all altcoins can dump even more than now. If you pay with USD - you are really good :)

I don't think you are.  Otherwise I am insane too because I did the same.  I bought a couple coins every time the price dropped $25.  LTC has real world use.  I believe the price will rise farther than $400 this year.  So why wouldn't I want to own many LTC's purchased at well below that?

It depends on your belief, I do not think it's crazy, the bitcoin is also falling, you have the impression of loss, but it is not as well with the downward trend  the legendary Bear market, being cautious is good advice.

It is wise to buy more when market deeps. when market deeps after some time it will rise and pick up. so you are making a good decision. But buy other coins as well not just ltc.

I just bought some because I don't have any choice to withdraw my money from kolotibablo. I have enough balance in my paypal. I have some garbage balance in payza. so I have no more choice than withdraw it to litecoin. I hope it won't be bad decision.

LTC still has very strong fundamentals, and a bright future; these prices are at discount compared to what it'll be worth in less than a years time.

If you buy good coins and do it in small lots, then you are an intelligent and calculating investor. It is necessary to catch the turning points of the market to maximize profits. Those who could do it are able to make a lot of money.

That's a good decision you should include ETH too. Buy it when the price drops it's also good for long term hold with LTC.

You are doing the right moved because you are buying low and sell high soon. This dipped is about South Korea in which they don"t have the control of entire altcoins but only a piece of it that if soon when all of their coins are dump then the rise up will follow but you did not miss the opportunity to buy low which is the good part of this event.

Youre doing right, if you traded some other alternate coins to lite coin then it is good, but if you used btc to purchase lite coin i think it  is not a good idea since bitcoin will be pump again soon.

You arent insane. Is a rational investment decision any investor can make. Buy low sell high. Now all coins are dropping and if you have some idle cash somewhere ,it is best to buy more so when it rise again you can sell off for profit.

You are doing good,LTC is a solid coin it can recover fast in the dips like this,im doing the same thing as my coins are dipping too much for me its the perfect time to get some cheap solid coins,the market now is starting to recover surely will get a quick profits from the dip,happy trading.

you did good buddy,, smart people bought X or Y coin during the drop but, only Litecoin? why didn't you buy another crypto? always try to diversify your portfolio, you should've taken the opportunity to buy some others coins as the entire market was on sale (or still is).

But LTC is all right, I believe it's one of the best alts to hold for the long-term.

If you have a good amount of LTC! Just hold THAT coin and don’t sell it. It’ll recover super quick.

Not sure, we might still see this slightly but even during this massive altcrash BTC dominance hasn't touched 40%. Even now while I'm writing this and the whole market is once again in the green, BTC dominance slipped back down again to 34% from its previous high of 38%.

Seems like BTC is king but its dukes, lords, ministers and mayors are gaining traction in favor of the people(market).

If you plan to hodl your litecoins for long term yes it is a good choice to buy litecoin. But litecoin already went up too much. It should be between $200-$300 level for a while. I still hodl litecoin and I like this coin.

Thats what i am doing with the solid alts yesterday at the dip,i keep buying solid coins just wait for few hours you will get instant money.

I think this is our time to buy all the coins that are falling in price that we think is good and have a good future. After that we hold and wait for the right time to resell it at high price. I was do it and we can do it! Don't miss it!

Because litecoin has prove to be one of the most stable vertual currencies out there and aims to provide a faster, more efficient payments system than bitcoin,which has its value considered more as an investment than a currency.
Litecoin is still up and one of the best performing cryptocurrencies of 2017.

Prices are unpredictable as they always been, I don't see any kind of news to believe the price will rise at any near future.

You are using your brain well. That's not a bad decision but I agree it can be even better when you use dollar in buying. This does not only apply to litecoin but to all good coins. Good coins for me are those with active team, huge community and great plans.
I am also doing it to some altcoins and it had gave me good profits atm.

You are doing the right thing by investing in the currency you believe in. Dont be a quick seller and wait for the right moment for LTC to rise up. LTC sure is a potential coin and it is definitely a great alternative to BTC. A few months ago when the BTC network was congested people were making transactions through LTC and that is what made a spike in it's price. Buying it when it dips is a good thing you are doing. LTC will surely rise up in the future. Make sure you sell some when the price is reasonable and to take away with your profits.

Is a good strategy. Now when you are done with the buying wait till the price come and pass where you started buying , and you can resell to make more profit. It will take few months for the price to make a come back.

Buying just because prices are going down is not a very good idea you could be buying for a long time and waiting for a break even.

It depends on what you believe it is going to be the future of litecoin, many people think of bitcoin as a form of gold and think of litecoin as silver and the analogy is perfect, bitcoin is still trying to become the cryptocurrency used by the world but if it fails it could still become a store of value, however litecoin with its cheaper price and the faster block generation make it a better candidate to become a currency.

ya if that's the case, i really make a choice to build some rig rather than buying some coins for a long time. but we don't know how much money he talked about. and generally, i agree with him to buy in low price for every coins that have a good future.

It's your money, you can do as you please, but buying a dip for a coin that you trust fundamentally not based on a hype (Not all hype a bad one I mean) is good things. Long-term hodl always deliver.

Yes you are doing the right thing of buying in low and selling in high in terms of trading rules but Everytime following the rules is not the right choice.And investing all your money in one coin is also not right.I know you like litecoin and there is no harm in investing in it but you have to consider all the possible results and then be ready with your plan b.
