Do you guys have any idea why Bitcoin (and the other crypto) went down so much? Is it because of the South Coreea and China news?

Historically Bitcoin has always gone up and down ...good time to buy  :)

Because many are selling BTC instead of buying. Basic supply and demand. Some concerns about banning of cryptocurrency in South Korea might helped the downtrend. Some are untiringly spreading FUDs that might've triggered panic selling.

Bitconnect - a leading Lending project - went bankrupt, so a large portion of investors lost their capital and lost confidence in the crypto market. Their demand for BTC is also reduced as investors no longer need intermediate currency to participate in Lending. I think it is the main reason.

It is not for the first time and it will not be the last one. It is very normal. Correction was needed and it happened. Yes it is also because of South Korea and China news and asian new year.

Actually i have no idea why bitcoin price is going down , may be some un reliable news from China and south korea are responsible for this incident.

That's a normal process going on in bitcoin market.It has already seen lots of ups and downs in it's price.Well china has already lost its significance in the bitcoin market but the changes in south korea would be one of the reason for such a fall in prices of crypto currencies.But the good thing is that instead of completely banning cryptos,south korea has decided to regulate cryptos which would soon have a positive impact on thecrypto market.

Because everyone FUD... And its going bigger and bigger like a snowball

Just a correction that happened exhaustively & News coming from Korea contribute to bitcoin back path too .
I don't see any abnormality within this , do you ?

I do not think so, the price is heavily going down because there is a lot of manipulation behind the scenes. it wouldn't be surprising if we all discover that everything is being manipulated by China and the United States right now.

For me, all this situation is going to get back to normality soon, i can not understand why a lot of people are very worried at the moment.

This is nothing, a dip is always healthy when there is a huge bullish trend.

Lot of FUD spreading. And Last few years January always has been a crypto bloodbath. Well people call it bloodbath. I see it as a little dip and a great buy opportunity.
I have been buying all evening. great chance to get in on coins you missed and now you get a second chance.  

Yes , I agree with that and probably thats the main reason why Bitcoin dumo this much last time, and some of the people I know believe that rapid dump of the currencies was the result of implementing the spliting of the remaining coins so we can continue earning here. I believe there is so much reason why the prices went down just keep working and always be optimistic type of person.

The jig is up, high transaction fees, slow transaction speeds. Its impractical to use Bitcoin and countries are all making plans to get rid of all crypto since its a natural threat to their economies.

I suggest everyone sell out quick before you lose your money and you are not left holding the empty bag at the end.

It is because of supply and demand. And at first, if bitcoin's price down, be calm and dont be on rush. Do not panic. Everything happens for a reason and you must be responsible. Be patient and wait for the time that it will be settled again.
