Why should you sell BTC there when you can not withdaw USD there and the price is going to rise because of this reason  ???

since its biggest trade website,it should reflect the situation on bitcoin.i think that many buyers refer it as a flag...

i think its not that simple.many country press report about bitcoin,many people join it.and i want to tell u about libertyreserve... is closed on 24th of may. 60 billion dollars are gone...as i know many people are join this bitcoin game  include me,i lost 1k there. but i think this is really good game here...may be this is part of reason....

Well it's also 102 at coinbase and Bitstamp, and 99 at Btc-e.

That is big difference from MtGox. You can buy at Bitstamp and sell at MtGox and get a big profit. Unless you cant withdraw from MtGox, thats it

I really want to do this, but am nervous about trying to withdraw from Mt.Gox at the moment.  I need to do some more research and find out the processing times.  Anyone withdrawn cash recently and have a time frame for USD??

Nobody use gox. It stinks. There is no USD withdraw for 2 weeks, and their price is 10% larger than the rest. For price, use bitcoinaverage.com.

On July 4th they stated that all global withdraws have been resumed, source: https://www.mtgox.com/press_release_20130704.html

They state that deposits are taking around 10 days at the moment, but there is no mention of withdraws.

This information is incorrect.  They are still supporting withdraws in USD, I was just wonder what the time frame is.

No, bitstamp is the biggest trading website.

And you can't withdraw from Gox so even if BTC were worth 1,000,000 there you'd still get nothing from the site.

what's going on with mt gox they're affecting everything.

Again, the trend is your friend. Don't fight it.

First impulse is to sell but i think best strategy is to maintain.
I bet this trend should continue next weeks fueled by people abandoning minning and buying bitcoins.

gox is ridiculous!!!its need id verification then you can trade on this Platform!!!i use btc-e is quite easy and fast than it .by the way bitstamp is look .

What does everyone here have against mtgox ? The withdraw in euros work just fine, and even if the prices are higher, mtgox does 80% of the volume in transactions, compared to bitstamp & cie, who can't follow it. And I'm sure the price will rise, so I'll massively buy bitcoins.

yeah mtgox does affect the rate of exchange ,every platform is going up today ,i think it going hit $130 after tommorrow...

Price on MtGox is rising, because long time big USD depositors started to buy bitcoins to send it out of MtGox.  It's currrently not easy/possible to withdraw USD from MtGox, so you should maybe reconsider buying USD for BTC there.

Mt Gox is dying, it doesn't matter. i will hold my BTC.

i dont want see gox died...even it not so good for existing...if it die... it will affect the whole bitcoin chain...not good...

Gox's death would be good for bitcoins, I think. They're far overpriced on Gox. BTC-e, Bitstamp, and others stay a good 15-20 below Gox, yet for some reason people look it's price when determining the value of bitcoins.

Even VirWoX is cheaper than Gox now.

Please add option: Nah, having ballance on MtGox is very risky option
