Buy a USB block erupter on ebay for $40 and start mining on your PC.

Open a wallet on http://blockchain.info and invest in a small amount to get started.

Ignore mining yourself, unless you love technical stuff, but get at least some clue what mining does.
Buy a small amount of Bitcoins and get used to how the system works and how to securely store your coins.
Find a local client you like, test out how paper wallets work, make a blockchain.info account.

I will pay you 0.1 BTC for you to dance wildly to Blue Oyster Cult's "Don't Fear the Reaper" while wearing a BitcoinBanker costume, 80s sunglasses and oversized shoes (either on feet or on head). You also need to be wielding at least one piece of fruit.

Hop to it.

Read the forums for more info and wait for any action (buying something) you may take at least one week

We need to know at least the following: what version of Windows you're using, what graphics card you're using, what version of drivers you're using, what pool you're using.

Bitcoin isn't all about mining you know?
Just like gold isn't all about gold transports.

windows 7 64 bit

AMD E-50 processor duel core
AMD Radeon HD 6310 Graphics

i want to use slush's pool but guiminer wont open... i opened task manger then opened guiminer and saw that the process was there, but after 10 sec it "disappears"

best result for me are from cgminer/bfgminer or bitminer they all work fine on win 7 x64 and you might be able to be mining in background while you use your pc, I think that card will be very slow for mining though  :-\

good luck  8)

Edit:
yep very very slow ~12-15MH if you are lucky

AMD 63xx:
80 Stream Processing Units
8 Texture Units
16 Z/Stencil ROP Units
4 Color ROP Units

and from hardware comparison
             Mhash
6310M    9.821    0.545   Integrated/APU    poclbm-gui -v -w128
