Yes you have right, I was righting this announcement on my knee if I can say like that.

The project wasn't ready for announcement, but some miners found source on my github and without any information's they start mining. From one side was fine for me, but I thought then someone else would like to mine them.

I copied as a model some announcement was made, to not miss anything any information's.

But like you will compere those two, then you will see Are different....

I only hope and with such an early announcement without full information, which will of course be shared ASAP. Not discouraged you from our project.

Those coin have been mined in time of work by dev, to make sure then everything is working fine with transfers and wallets.
Now we don't heave any another choice, and make this project forward. The plans on close future for as have been change buy this small mistake, when the source has been found on github before announcement.

What is the value of a Deutercoin? On pool.deutercoin.uk is says like $0.28, but it is not traded yet, is it? So how does the site come up with this value?

The price very likely was set by default on the pool website and has nothing to do with deutercoin in general. There cant be a overall agreed price yet.
And value is determined by demand and supply, there is no exchange yet, which means no price. You define the price, according on project's potential, activity, ect.
But because dev's are likely under pressure we have to wait, looks like it's something serious. ( read ANN first post to understand why they might be under pressure, understand it and relax )
As for me Im very excited. Dev's should take their time and plan, not to bring out half assed presentation like most coins/tokens/ico's are.

I can answer on question about price, the first ticker what we chose was DTR but around month or little bit more someone chose same ticker ant in that time the price show up on pool. Is taken from Cryptonator but is not real, we change our ticker on DTC. That's it about the price on pool.deutercoin.uk...

This new version1.0.4 does not run at the same time with the monero wallet on the same computer， but version1.0.3 can run .  OS is windows10

I installed the new wallet on win10 and it works like a charm.
First coin that I use that is so easy to work with and mine with CPU.

I don't think that is problem with update, problem is then monero and our coin are working on same ports
18080 and 18081. Maybe i'm wrong but if you will run our wallet first then you will not be able to run monero and in different way same. In update 1.0.4 there wasn't any big changes made and port's are same in both versions.

The miner finds shares on the pool it is pointed at and my hashrate goes up on the wallet address ont the pool website. Just wondering if I need to add a command or something or is this error what everyone gets ?

I enabled -allpools 1 and it fixed the error message, but I have another Question. I tried to enable -tt 80 so I don't melt my video card (jk) But then the miner refuses to work. I have it the same as the documentation in the readme file. Anyone got any ideas ?

Like yo know our Coin have bean lunched to early, all cost and VPS servers for nods and pool we finance from our own pocket.
Our financial resources are slowly dry out, we didn't have time to find some sponsors or investors because of the early lunch.
And in close future we will have more spend to set more nods faster nods... That's why we didn't have much choice like ask you guys for support.

My fans are running normally, I am using the -tt command to limit the temperature as this is just my gaming computer with 1 gpu and I dont want the fans running at max annoying me while I am sitting next to the computer. I have set the temperature throttle to 80 degrees instead of trying to get as many hash out of the computer possible.

If or when I get myself a mining rig I will be running watercooling on my cpu and gpu's and overclocking the shit out of them.

But like I checked to list coin there we need to pay 5000000 DOT what is over 16 BTC then something around 160,000$ ;)

Like you know our lunch wasn't planed, we head lot's of work to do before lunch.
Our coin has been in test faze when someone start mining before announcement.
We could reset everything add premined blocks to genesis and keep 30% of it for as, on future development
and building our network of nodes. But we didn't want to have bed reviews on the beginning, that's why we decide to continue our work and make announcement earlier and left for the public over 90% of all max supply.

Wow, that's a bad mistake. I hope it wasn't too much.

Also, The devs may not have launched correctly but do not feel too sorry for them, they are getting mining fees so they are accumulating coins with our mining hashes. Which I am perfectly fine with. I would also be perfectly fine with them raising the mining fees to 10% until they reach a certain goal as long as it is extremely transparent and reasonable and all mining fees go to 1 single address that they advertise.

Without them this coin doesn't exist.

It wasn't too much. One day of mining. About 500 DTC.
I am glad that I have learned an important lesson at low price :)

I've seen that you are working on an exchange listing, which ones are you aiming for right now?

That's a awful lot of coins just to make sure everything is ok, it's a shame that so many interesting projects get rekt'ed by their own creators before they have a chance to grow up.

No reputable exchange will ever list a coin with such a big premine.

I would suggest doing a giveaway or even burn most of the coins and keep something around 1% to 1,5% of total supply (180.000 to 270.000 coins), if you can manage to get some credibility it's almost sure that 180.000 coins will be worth a lot more than 1.200.000 coins with little or no value.

Many coins have premined coins for many reasons (look at all the majors). I'm sure their use will be explained in the road map and white paper. While a giveaway or a burn would be nice, right now the focus needs to be on having the coin listed on am exchange. Some exchanges request some of the coin first up, hence the need for some premine lying around I guess. Let's see how this goes.

Let's hope so, but a lot of users will have the fear that Dev's would dump those coins at a first opportunity, that's why some coins  will lock out a big part of the premine for some time, another good way to get rewarded for the work is to allocate some % of each mined block to Dev's.

Ex: I rather those 1.200.00 coins being given to DEV's overtime as a % of each mined block, than as a premine.

    We have an update regarding our exchange listing. We have now received a couple of donations that will help us get listed on our first Exchange.

Try one more time download wallet, if you head any funds on your wallet, just backup you wallet file.
Remove old wallet and folder C:\Users\%user_name%\AppData\Roaming\deuter\
Download blockchain, has been updated today.
Run new wallet for some time and close, replace files in folder C:\Users\%user_name%\AppData\Roaming\deuter\ on new blockchain files downloaded.
Run wallet one more time, should sync fast and should work...
Don't forget about firewall ;)

I would like to apologies you all for that, I been trying to solve the problem over this week.
Hundreds of builds with changes made is source, with same effect.
The biggest mistake was when I shutdown my nods and pools to resolve problem, and people start mining on wrong block chain.
Original chain was stop on block 44526, If someone notice that some wallets stuck on this or 1622.
Whatever I will do now always the longest block chain will be shown as a good one with is wrong, and two separate network shows up mining with two different difficulties.
Project wasn't ready before start, that's why I didn't make announcement before some people start mining coin.
I didn't have time to check everything  and now we have result's, I didn't find solution on this and I don't know anyone who can help me to solve problem.
That's why I need to surrender the project,  with is hard for me. I lost a lot of time and money on this project to make It work but I don't want to anyone lose money because of me.

Whole money from donation address will be send back to senders, and I hope that you will find better and more stable project then this one.

There already exists a DTC, called Datacoin.
Short history: It used to be present on many exchanges when it started 2013 e.g. Bittrex, Bter, C-CEX, Comkort, BTC38, Coins-E etc. It collapsed in June 2016 because the developer left for unknown reasons, but saw new life when new developers came on board early last year. It has since been revived. I guess you guys didn't see its listing was "hidden" on coinmarketcap.

You need to backup wallet first, so your coins will be saved. But we still have a problem with sync on block 54379 because someone messing around with network.

DeuterCoin Wallet 1.0.7 is still at 54379 block

Same problem here.  I actually managed to get mine fully synced and after 10mins or so it jumped back to being stuck at block 54379.

I managed to sync mine and it's working since 2h now. Hope it continue like that. Delete everything in Deuter in Appdata except .wallet and open gui wallet (mine stopped syncing at like 49004, I just closed the wallet and opened it again).

Also, The devs may not have launched correctly but do not feel too sorry for them, they are getting mining fees so they are accumulating coins with our mining hashes. Which I am perfectly fine with. I would also be perfectly fine with them raising the mining fees to 10% until they reach a certain goal as long as it is extremely transparent and reasonable and all mining fees go to 1 single address that they advertise.

I've update to 1.0.7 and stuck at block 54362.... :'(

Hey, at least they tried and we should give them kudos for that. Not all altcoins make it somewhere, it's a wild west out there. As long as they gained some learning experience from this, maybe an altcoin they create in the future will be more promising.

If you read the topic then you know that coin hes been lunched by mistake, there was no ICO.
Since last couple month I'm trying to keep this project life and improve it, to make him more stable and ready to list on exchange.
We get some donation and rest of required amount I paid from my own pocket to list coin on first market.
Money from donation hes been transferred on market address and I got answer that our coin will be listed in 1-2 weeks.
I didn't get any specific date of it but when I will receive any like that I will share those info with you guys.

Deutercoin have now a community driven Subreddit!

It's still work in progress. You may see ugly things, bugs and errors. They will be fixed in a near future.

What I want to achieve with that Subreddit is:
- Put together the community to help the dev when needed (it's easier to do that in Reddit than Discord).
- Create a Wiki with thing like History, basic specs, how to mine, basic fix for know issues, basic rules for cryptocurrency (well somewhere where a totally new to crypto can find all the info he needs and that will promote Deuter too).
- Help people.
- Have civilized debate on coin future.
- And of course, have fun!

Run wallet and shut down, copy blockchain files and run wallet one more time.

We need to have this coin in tradeogre.com. almost all cryptonote coins are there and with very good pricing.

As I know ASIC attack already has been diverted, fork implemented in bc (arround 83k block?). Dev will know exactly.

Can you please resolve the 1.3TH hashrate error if possible as it seems blockchain is stuck.

Scam? Network is dead

It can be relaunch or repairs due to the difficulty problem that occurred to the network.
Some pool problem that occurred probably by code fault in the latest daemon.

Let's hope this will as soon as possible be done in a good manner by DEV.

I truly believe it can take much time for DEV to reset all most nodes to a difficulty that is possible to mine.
