Only the manufacturer can apply to have their equipment certified/recognized by the various product safety organizations. Anyone here in Canada that had run into this problem with city/utility inspectors asking for CSA certificates?

Even when getting an electrical permit the install is the only thing my province is concerned with. Now if you are setting up a facility using MW as opposed to KW there may be more questions. Best bit of advice I can give you is just let them know what you need supply wise, don't over divulge what you are running. Hope you got the permit. |
