Most people recommend not using a SATA cable as it can burn up

The PCI slot can pull 75 amps.  Coming off the 12v rail that is only 6 amps. Per slot.  You will run into problems if you load a ton of cards onto the same wire coming out of the PSU.

A PSU HDD connector/wire should absolutely be able to source 6 amps.  12 amps (2GPU's) is pretty questionable.  18 amps (3GPU's) is absolutely dangerous.

I'm not sure if that load is split between the 5v and 12v rails on the HDD connector, but It should be ok to power at least a single GPU off of a single HDD cable strand.

6 pin is more safer than sata.

Did you mean 6 pin VGA is 6+2 Pin? I think it is more useful if you are using it for powering your GPU's. So, Molex to 6 pins is okay I think. Almost all newest gen riser using Molex to 6 pins.
