Title: butterfly labs jalapeno firmware update
Post by: cshelswell on August 20, 2013, 05:03:20 AM
Hi I've managed to get my hands on a 5ghs jalapeno and i've noticed some people talking of a firmware update that takes it up to 8ghs. I don't suppose anyone know's how you might go about achieving such a thing or if it's possible?

Cheers :)

If you're not sure you can do it, don't do it yet.  Wait until the device breaks even.  Which means you'd probably never do it at all. :-)

yeah i'm pretty sure I can do it but it literally only arrived today so i think i might leave it for a bit. It'd be good to enjoy it for a while yet. It runs at about 5.6 anyway so it's not too bad :)
