Title: Setup local mining pool for lower network bandwidth?
Post by: Severos on January 19, 2018, 04:08:24 PM
If I have multiple devices on local network (say around 60) but low internet speed, would it be better to setup some kind of local pool over LAN so I end up with 1 connection to remote pool and 60 LAN connections?

i do not know if it will help
but if you are getting some connection issues with 60 devices connected to a pool
giving local mining pool a try wont hurt
maybe you get a tiny better result

Typically you wouldn't setup a pool, but instead a stratum proxy (which is also generally pretty easy to setup), that will consolidate all your rigs into a single request.
