It depends on which ICO you choose. If we talking about investment than all investments come up with the risk. In my opinion, risk means profit without risk we can't get anything. You need to do good research to find out which ICO is best. We need to analyze the team, product and the scope of the product in the future as well. It's hard to say for any ICO we get 100% profit. It may be happening we face loss. But if the team and product good than the chance of loss low.  ;)

I think if you want to invest in ico project, choose a promising project, in terms of long-term benefits. not just selling coins. and I think choose a small amount of supply because it will affect the price of the coin

Mate, I'd just you to go for trading than investing in ICOs. Because here's the thing they are shit and you have to wait for a long long time for you to get a good return in investment.
