Title: PCI-E power to card and riser
Post by: giveen1 on January 19, 2018, 05:19:10 PM
Just a quick question.

On each PCI-E power cord coming from the PSU there is 2x 6+2. Can I use one for the GPU and the other to the riser using an extender to reach that extra couple inches?

yes you can. also you can use pcie power splitter cables for riser cards. just dont drain unbalanced power consumptions from each cords.

Okay, thank you, that takes a worry off my head. I'll be running 6x 1060's off a 850W with a bit lower on the power so I think I should be fine.
