Title: Cryptocurrency Portfolio
Post by: 6vito6 on January 19, 2018, 06:37:17 PM
Hi everyone, today I released web cryptocurrency portfolio http://portfolio.cryptland.com. List all you coins in one place and check their approximate value.

Wanted to know which portfolio you use now?

On phone I use Blockfolio - really great app, but sometimes I think it would be easier if portfolio just stands open in browsers tab.

Do you know some other web based portfolios?

Nice job.

Like idea about web portfolio, because i work with computer all day, so it is lot easier than mobile portfolios.

I use hitbtc as exchange, and usually look at my balance there, but now I will use this portfolio, because it is lot faster.

I also like simplicity of it, but I will wait for some more features in future.

Rock on!

That's an interesting design. I'd be eager to know how are you planning to monetize such a website? I know that it can be resource heavy to track so much data and also quite time consuming to set up and maintain.

This is actually a pretty great idea, and your website design is very modern and up-to-date, unlike many other crypto-related services and sites out there. My only feedback is that I constantly trade on multiple exchanges, so having to manually input the total amount of each currency I own could become tiresome after a full day of trading. While this is a great feature to track coins that are outside my wallet, will you be adding a feature that allows you to monitor a certain address to display it's balance and value from within an account on your site? I'd be very interested in automatically tracking my balances within all of my crypto wallets vs having to manually add up the totals and convert the value for each coin.

Cheers, and great site!

I'm just an enthusiast of cryptocurrencies, for now it's just a project that helps me to track overall value of my coins.

There is a google ad that maybe can handle my hosting expenses. Maybe later there will be a donate link, but that's not the main thing.

Thanks for your response!

Thats a really great idea to take value of coin from public key. I also had an idea that users be able to select exchange where the coin is stored, but with cryptocompare api it's not so easy, because in that way I should make many requests to handle that.

Thanks for you opinion!

I personally wouldn't care for a button that took me to the exchange that my coin is stored on... I don't even want to track the balances that I have within an exchange; that would require logins or API's that rely on information that most users won't provide you with. But just a way to call on a block explorer for an address that I provide would be great. I often forget how many coins I'm holding of a certain type, and to have to login to those respective wallets every time gets to be quite annoying :P

Tried PM but system says User '6vito6' has not chosen to allow messages from newbies. You should post in their relevant thread to remind them to enable this setting.

This is a nice thread tho, i believe what you are asking is like copytrading bro. I mean it's not that bad bro but if you are expecting experts to give leaks in threads like this i believe they will not do it. I mean i believe those who will be encouraging you to buy something will be those who are ready for pump and dumps.

Great idea. I too use blockfolio on my phone, never really felt the need for having my portfolio open in my browser tab but I'll probably use this. It lacks quite a few features which I like in blockfolio, considering you just made this it's great.
