Is ETH tokens killing the concept of cryptocurrency? lately seen a ICO called fit vitalik whose goal is to motivate vitalik buterin founder of ethereum go to gym and motivate others,it is getting as joke?

Ethereum tokens are not killing crypto world, fact is there has been lots of great ether tokens who benefited the community. I understand some funny ether tokens but its the part of the world.

No it's help to grow or expand more the digital currency like btc or some alternative coins i think if you have eth you need to exchange in btc or if you have tokens you need to exchange that in eth so they making transaction and it's grow by doing that kinds of move here,crypto grow and run by many transaction so the price will grow by that and there's a lot more ways why price of digital currency grow up like if some exchanger authorized a coins or have it in their site to do transaction.

Why whould it be killing crypo? It the coin with most functionality and was first do to it.

Ethereum is a blockchain on which more developments can be made and not just another alt coin. One of the best projects that has come up so far on the ETH blockchain my opinion is the 0x project. And about the ICO that you mentioned about, it was a bad joke by someone.

I don't think so, they question is, are we likely going to see this crazy without Ethereum platform which to me is Yes, there are so many proof of stake coin and even proof of work that are offering absolutely nothing but to scam people

Really, Then this is now joke. But will bounty hunters take them serious and go ahead to promote this kind of of project? I have my doubt if any investor will drop a penny in this type of concept. Let us be serious at least.

The ethereum token is awesome in my point of view, cause it open our eyes that cryptocurrency can be used in many aspect even can be use in real life. Or just to make some game like crypto kitties yesterday.

It is too early to say that. If those ERC 20 tokens matures well in the coming years, may be we can see it killling other crypto coins. But we need to keep in mind that new platforms such as EOS  and NEO are posing a serious threat to ethereum.

ICOs have been trending for a few months now. We first noticed the increase of these offerings earlier this month when Ethereum’s price skyrocketed to a high of $1100+. No it isnt . ETH tokens are rather creating more awareness in the crypto currency market that any other altcoins. Almost all Initial coin offering accept Ether and it has really helped a lot of startups to raise funds from crypto coins.

I think many developers are misusing and abusing the smart contract of ethereum launching am ico without a real purpose on ethereum smart contract wanting tokenize everything even if it doesn't have a purpose or value.

For a serious thought about this situation, I don't think it's killing anything. This is free market after all. If somebody think fit vitalik is a good idea to invest why would we stop him? I think in the long run ignorant money will change to smart money. Losers always lose. You can't stop ignorant to lose money by forcing rules and law. Let the market decide!

Ether should inspect ICOs. There are many scam ETH ICo which make people out of Crypto market. Waves will bring tokenemica for ICO inspection.

I don't think so. ETH tokens opened new perspectives of the crypto currency development. Not all tokens are scam or jokes, there are many interesting ideas standing behind some tokens, and more innovative things will come. One not so good thing for cryptos is that almost everyone tries to create tokens instead of creating new coins, but I'm pretty sure, that ICO "boom" will end after some time and new tokens will stop to appear so quickly, but token quality will raise up.

In fact ( as they are named eth-tokens ) they mostly can affect Ethereum price cuz they use its platform and consume partialy power , a retro-inflence cycle is installed between Eth & these token

Absolutely not! In fact it is enriching the system and increasing value of ETH as well. It is also exposing the loopholes (e.g, network congestion and transfer fees), and paving path to a better coin - unless ETH fixes these ASAP.

I think ETH tokens has opened up a new era for cryptoworld, but the speed and cost are now issues that Ethereum Blockchain can not solve. If they want to kill cryptocurrency, there will be blockchain generation 3.0 rescued and become heroes, for example: ArcBlock. Universa, CREDITS, Aion, Lineage...

The tokens are not killing cryptocurrency , but stupid people giving money to useless tokens are. When they got scammed they think every coin is a scam, instead of blaming themselves for the stupid decisions.

ethereum is second to bitcoin and a lot are using ethereum. there are things that ethereum can do while other altcoins cannot so ethereum is a very useful coin. not just ethereum other altcoins too it is just that when people are scammed by other people they blamed cryptocurrency as worthless coin.

Yes I see many dumb coins likes these  but that does not mean that all the tokens are bad there are many nice ICO also which are doing great but we have nothing in that there are both types of fish in the sea good and bad and it depends on us which one we want to eat and which one to not so its better be selective in the coins which you choose to participate in so if we do not give value to bad ICO they will automatically stop to make these kinds of bad coins.

People behind the fit vitalik seems to be his hater,nothing new to that if you are in the spot light many people will hate you.

How can they?,a few bad nuts can't kill the concept of cryptocurrencies,there alot of very great ethereum tokens which have utility and are making giant strides.The few ones that have no real world use will just die out over time.

I'm not so sure it is killing it but it is competition for all other currencies and maybe it saturates the mareket by giving it a bigger spread over more currencies. Is that what you ment ? Well I guess if another currency better then Eth comes then the spread will increase and price too.

I think ETH may be the future of cryptocurrency.

I don't think ETH will lead to the demise of the cryptocurrency market, which may make the cryptocurrency market more glorious.

They are actually making it prosper. Though they are privately issued and works as a fundraiser for private/public institutes, they have much more predictable and auditable nature than traditional system. They have led to a wide acceptance of cryptocurrency as a real assets and have increase the use of crypto by hundred of folds.

I realized that most token now has no value. But not at all. There are many good token also. Especially token which having good product, and used as utility token.

No, the Ethereum project is not killing cryptocurrencies.  Ethereum actually open the eyes of the crypto world to smart contracts.  There are projects that are now working on implementing smart contracts such as Stratis and Waves. 

Read the post fully, i never said anything about ethereum ,ethereum is big player in cryptocurrency ,but the tokens based on ethereum are shit ,not to mention some tokens are great but due to shitty tokens ,the concept of crypto is getting spoiled

people like you (the one who have good knowledge about crypto and following it ) can understand well ,but lately lot of people who does not have knowledge about cryptocurrency ,just because of bitcoin boom started investing in cryptocurrency ,those who can afford they invest in btc,eth,monero,LTC ,those who have small budget they prefer to put their money in some altcoin which might bring them luck after couple of years ,when they read the whitepaper and they are in shock because lot of coins whitepaper is just a copy line by line and some random shit,it causes fear among the big crowd ,which makes them think the whole cryptocurrency is a bad idea ,I talk with lot of new investors who are drivers ,doctors, ,just a view of common man who has no idea what is cryptocurrency

Probably the people who created that coin is just a troll and hater of vitalik,ethereum is a great platform and being used by most of the new alts.
