Title: ICO or Altcoin?
Post by: syberwolfen on January 20, 2018, 07:46:25 PM
Is it better to invest into an ICO or Altcoin which is already on the exchanges ? Sometimes ICO can give huge profit margin if it is successful and everything goes well but there are some of the ICO which do not get enough funds and gets paused so we waste our money and time there . I need your opinion whether to invest in ICO or altcoins ?

I generally prefer altcoins because of reliability. But I think I will enter telegram Ico if it is possible.

Me my self chose existing alt over ICOs, cause i think it more safe. But sometimes i joining ICO if that ICO make me interested, such as what project they devlop. I love taking risk though, so as long at the begining you choose wisely wich ICO you invest youll make a decent good profit from it.

For me, why not both. However, if I'm not that sure then I will choose altcoins unless I researched it and found out its legitimacy and great potential of the project then I will go for the ICO as it mostly gives high returns once it's on the exchange.

I will also go for Altcoins that are already in the market but there are still so ICOs with great projects that ones their coins enter the market it will be better of existing Altcoins.

I combine the two to generate a little better income. For example, a large ico finishes and they launch the first tokens in the exchanges from there the bounty hunters dump a great amount of tokens causing the price to fall the below this and the best time to be able to buy.

From my experience in ico investment and promotion I will really advice you to invest your money into altcoins as this is far better than investing in an ico projects. I have bought some ico and I am currently regretting in investing my hard earned  money into such projects. If you invest into a project that is not exist any were except on the internet and on the mind of a developers you will be on your own as most of them has never get listed on exchangers sites before go on the dring. But if you buy a coins you can easily convert them to bitcoin or ethereum at will.

Ico's with good project and team are very profitable, in short time u can earn too much money. Ico's are more profitable for u when u make enough research about Ico's

Its depend what u want, if u want to have in shor term profit u can invest in Ico but if u want to have stable profit u can buy altcoins( strong altcoins), some of ico's give profit in short time but for long term they are not stable

I will suggest to invest in ico only if you have researched it well and you are confident that it will do great and you will not want to miss out and also can hold that until product development completes for good profit otherwise you can trade altcoins from exchanges.

The safer route for sure is to invest into altcoins already on the exchanges with proven communities because they have been around longer. Those however will generally yield you less ROI and as a result that is why people chase the ICOs. They give better yield but you never know if they are coming to market or take the money and develop extremely slowly. For me I do majority of my investing into altcoins because they are more proven but then again if I see an ICO that I think is fabulous I will punt some $ at it too.

Personally, i am into both. But lately, i am considering doing more of ICOs. There are a lot of ICOs with good ideas that worth investing these days. Do your research very well before jumping into ICOs.

If the ICO is a formidable venture then investing in the ICO at the bonus stage to acquire more is far better than altcoins because you can much gains when it get enlisted and new entrants tries to acquire the coins. But the crons is that your money is gone if the project fail to materialize.

Both have their qualities and both have their disadvantages, in relation to ICO you have the opportunity to follow the token step by step, participate in growth and can profit and with minimal investments, the disadvantage is that it has the possibility that the team does not meet the goal and stay for it and fail is a risk.  In the case of altcoins you have to perform a thorough research of the staff, opinions, speculation and the level of investment that is being made in trade and its disadvantage will depend on yourself, of their mistake in putting money in an under-researched currency.

I give preference to investment in ICO rather than altcoins in market because those coins at ICO stage can give you triple of your investment.

ICO is the first sale of an altcoin. If you read whitepaper, check team members, trust the project then you should buy from ICO phase. Early investors always have the best profit in good products.

For me, I think investing in both of them is pretty good but must take some precautions :
The choice of the ICO must be done carefully ( cuz as u said , some ICOs and up with great losses )
Secondly ( in fact it's the strategy I am following ) I try de divide the amount to invest in different proportions ie, 60-70℅ for the project the more confident ( in this case I assume it's alts) and 30-40 ℅ invested in ICOs

I choose both. But some people like to invest in ICO. I think that people do not like trading or do not know how to do it. Many people think that investing in ICO is a completely passive income and it attracts them.

I would go to Altcoin because as you said it is already listed in the exchanges. If you want to have a sure profit or income, go to the proven altcoin that has value already in the crypto market. ICO is good but we cannot guarantee that this will be listed on exchanges.

if you invest in ICO, you cant sell when you need money. You need to wait for exchanges. also you cant even be sure which ICO is scam. Trading on altcoin is more reliable for me. there is stop loss option and you can take your money when you need

Established altcoins with a good track record are a good investment, although, with good research, ICO's are becoming some really nice investments(if you get pre-sale bonus is a +)

It all depends on what you are pursuing. It seems to me that for long-term investment, ISO is better suited, but one must be neat, a lot of deception. If you want to earn fairly quickly, then it's better to trade.

Altcoins, are empty tokens, there is no logic to buy empty tokens , backed up by thin air. A good ICO is a game changer. Check DIW and understand why is more reasonable to invest to real projects or assets. I personally find very funny that people invest to shitty coins that disappear after sometime. A good ICO is making good profit but also good impact to community

Having a huge profit in ICO is by chance. If you believe and have hope in ICO, then, it is also a good way of investment. However, IcO wont gives us the guarantee that their coins will be availbalbe in every exchange's listing. On the other hand, invetsing in altcoin is a good guarntee that the coins has value already.

It depends to the ICO if the ICO become successful in the duture or not in the future.  Those ICO who reach thry target market cap for sure they will earn a lot of profit because it will become successful.  Sometimes better if you wait the the token or altcoin to be listed in exchanges site because other ICO after listed to the exchanges site it's decreass the price.

It depends from the target you want to reach. In case if you want to try to earn money, you should analyse ICO market, because it can generate a huge profit sometimes, chance that more stable coins will generate such profit is lower, but the risks are much higher with ICO investments.

I would love to go with Altcoin that are already in the exchange market because it's level of reasonable assurance is higher than ICO whose chance of success is 50:50

Title: Re: ICO or Altcoin?

Most of us would choose the altcoins because they are stable in the comparison to the ICO project which still has the plans that didn't even pass 5 percent of the further token realization. Many of the ICOs are risky even to enter or to invest in because most of these projects fail in the end. Lack of the progress in the ICO phase and the developer's bad management of their project are often leading to the ICO fail release in which investors already invested large sums of the money. That's why the altcoins, which has already fulfilled some of the goals that are presented in the ICO stage, are more attracted to the investors. They are presenting the bigger opportunity of the safeness.

The difference is just in the possibility to gain a very big amount of money( ICOs can provide that opportunity if the developers determine the low price of their tokens on the beginning and if the investor buys the huge amount of the tokens when they are still cheap).

I am investing 70% of the capital I have on good ICO projects. The rest I use to trade everyday and get income from it to pay for basic living expenses. I see ICO projects as a long-term and stable investment during this period as ICO projects are developing quite well after the completion of the token sale. I believe my decision is clear during this time.

I think you answered your own question there buddy. If you invest in an ICO and results being successful, then you are in the loot, if not you are screwed. Buying on E is more expensive, but a coin has already made into the market, and you may not loose all your money.

Title: Re: ICO or Altcoin?

To be honest depending on the coin, but for a newbie solid altcoins are the best to invest long term. buying solid alts is investing, and buying icos is gambling. It's best to split your portfolio. 80% you should invest and 20% you should gamble in order. that is just my personal opinion but it will always depend on your risk appetite

Title: Re: ICO or Altcoin?

ICO is always better, because the return is usually very high. However, lots of ICOs turned out to be a scam, therefore it's kinda risky to invest in ICO. But with altcoins, I think investing in altcoins are safer, but usually the return is not that high (unless you wait for a very long time). So, unless you know what you are investing in, altcoin is better.

Ico's are more profitable but its more risky than altcoins, but if u find any good ico with bright future ans with low price I think it ll give u big profit maybe in short time. So ICO's are too risky but give also big profit.

ICO is certainly more profitable, BUT, one big BUT, you need to find this ICO, which will not just grow in value, but grow and consolidate at the top and will not fall strongly. And you need to pass a document check. And recently it is also difficult to get on sale. Several advertised ICO was closed a couple of minutes after the start of sales.

I am chosing mostly existing altcoins instead of ICO, because i think altcoins are safer than ICOs due to they are already listed and one can study fundamentals as well as the past history of the particular altcoin. However, ICO with good project and team are very profitable, in short time u can earn too much money. ICO are more profitable for you when you make enough study about ICO. So sometimes i joining ICO if that ICO make me interested, such as what project they are developing.

ICO's are quite popular now and just look at UTRUST where it is now. ICO's can give you much profit than trading altcoins on exchanges if only you found this similar gems like Titanium and Swissborg that are going to hit the market by storm.

I prefer to invest after the ICO because almost all coin's price  were dropping after the ICO. When I'm impressed with the project, I'm eyeing it until they ended their ICO and then when it hit into some cryptocurrency exchanges then I would break my stash to invest more coins than ICOs can offer.

I believe in investing coins after ICO because almost all coins price are dropping after the ICO but that is not always the case because there are some coins also that are pumping after the ICO especially when the project is very important and more useful than the others.

I only invest in quality and hyped up projects. If I can get in during ICO phase, great. If I can't, I buy them on exchanges. However, these days good projects get priced in so fast. One has to prepare to pay 10X more if missed ICO. Best strategy is always invest in ICO and HODL.

Both of investment are profitable as well.as are risky , no doubt that ICOs are profitable but in these days to have belief with the ICOs is not a better thing because few people are making fake ICOs and stop them and sometimes few ICOs cease the account of the user because they don't want down the market of the coin ( here I will not take the name of that iCO which did the same ) .
Here in my opinion the best thing is to make profit is altcoins investment but at the proper Timing , because if we will buy at high price then chances to make profit are less but when bought at low then chances are high to make profit .

Bla bla bla.. Initial Coin Offering is the same as Altcoin which differentiates only ICO's new players while Altcoin is already in the market.
The point is either that ICO or Alts look for potential ones.

It is very hard to to predict ICO, which give real huge profits. But if you lucky to invest in such ICO (like ICON) you can get a lot of profit. Also need to search undervalued alts with perspective on the market and invest in. So my choice is 50/50.

But the real truth is that you can make more profit by just investing in ICO's, anyway, you are right with both. I am investing in both at the moment, and for me, investing in altcoins who are already listed is much more safe, but ico's are much more profitable anyways.

I think it's better to have more areas of investment. Investment is always a risk. The more you have the less risk areas. Better to divide the amount into 2 parts. 1 invest in currency 2 in ICO.
ICO require more time for analysis. If you have little time to study the market, easier to work with cryptocurrencies.

Depend only from want you risk or not.
There is relation profit/risk.  ICO more risky but give profit faster, you can profit after listing on exchanges.
Altcoins may stay on current price long, and more he can decrease

I doubt majority of ICOs so if I were to choose between ICO and altcoins I'd rather go to alts because these are already in the market and just only waiting for their right time to pump unlike ICO there is a higher risk that theu might not succeed but maybe for now because cryptos are not supported very well by governments when time comes it will become legal world wide surely ICOs will also hit the market but for now only promising alts were safe for investment

In my opinion they are both good investment as well. Once ICO is in the exchange market investing money on it is best choice because its give you an insurance  that your money invested on it will gain big profit. Same on altcoin once you invest on it as long as it is in the exchange market. Choosing both ICO and Altcoin for investment ensure that you are not wasting money instead it an opportunity to gain big profit as long as it is already on the exchange.

Yeah you are correct once the ICO succeed they give a huge profit to those people support and invested money on them. Some ICO not succeed and they not returning a good profit instead your money that you invested is hard to out on the  ICO because they paused the ICO and wait for another round until it succeed. There are time that ICO take a year before it succeed.

Why not buy some ICO coin where ICO investors are still not yet in a brek even position? Good example would be Bancor. BNT is still trading under its initial distribution price, calculated in ETH or BTC. I do not calculate those prices in fiat, because there was not fiat investment opportunity.

I think you should invest in ICO only if you are really sure the project will success. Ttere are a lot of ICO which burn out and never come to a new level. Altcoins are more secure and reliable. You already have proof that the project will be successful. Plus you can always exchange your Altcoins for Bitcoin in case of anything. I`ll recommend you to invest in Altcoins. It is more expensive, but at the time is more reliable.

Your choice must depend of project. But usually coin that already have been listed on exchanges have some progress. But choose coin with small cap and big plans.
Also dont forget that a lot of new ICO have interesting team + alpha version of product.

I prefer ico because of his habits the market price of ico is very good, although now already very much ico but this is not a setback for the ico,it is precisely with a lot of countries yes the ico this will be a boon for all of us to be able to participate in all of the ico.

At the present time now most of my profit was came in the ico project, where once the campaign ended up and the bounty distribution happen I will trade it in the exchange where it is listed of course then once being sold automatic it will convert into ethereum then sell it to be convert into bitcoin then convert into fiat, that's it. :)

Both, i think. Some ICOs can make high profit after listing, but you need "soft pillow" like ETH, TRON. This will make you feel financially safe for a long time (in the long run these coins can make X2+). You can also try to analyze the market below the top 100, but it`s risky.

For me both are good investment you just need to be careful in choosing which ICO or alts will going to have a big matket pump in due time. I've seen so many ICO that become successful same as to those who are not as well as I've witness how promising alts become a big hit in a matter of few days. So for me which ever we're going to invest with can have a high chance of success just do some sort of research.

it is hard to say which one is better!
some people prefer ICOs and as you can see there is a lot of money being poured into them even in the worst ones and the obvious scam ones!

but i personally prefer investing in something that i can see the history of. that means an altcoin that is already on an exchange with some history and a chart that i can look at.
that way i can at least make some speculation, even wrong speculation, based on some solid data that i can read. everything about an ICO is pure luck just like gambling.

as per my profits my recommendation is ico's. i agree with you most are scams and most are giving low ROI. even we can not cover the investment also. but from the research we can find out whats the best one. from the telegram members also we can identified. i too agree the coins already in markets also give high potential.

2. choose altcoins that are trend and boom it will make you profit

but the above option is my only advice, and it all depends on your choice ;)

I know that when you have more funds to put into something then there would be a chance of a higher profit so choosing between the two would have more profit but when it comes to risk management, it would be wise to spread your funds into some altcoins and ICO. You can choose an ICO that you think would have a tendency to be successful in the future base on your criteria or you just observe what the people have to say on the project. Regarding altcoins, I suppose you already have an idea what coins to look out for so just diversify your investment.

For new investors who just came into the crypto-currencies market, I would advise them to invest into altcoins rather than ICO tokens projects, sadly to say there are quite a huge number of ICOs tokens projects that have gone into scams at the moment, altcoins are much more stable in the crypto-currencies trading market.

Everyone chooses where to invest their money. You can invest in a very good project and make a profit of 3-5 times more. And you can already buy an alto at the exchange and wait until it goes into growth. My opinion is that it is better to choose a good ICO project and invest in it.

90% of all the ICOs, if not more, usually turn out to be far too ambitious and in the result people don't get what they were expected. But, as you said yourself, some ICOs can be very successful and then investors make big profits. Before investing in an ICO do your research first and only invest in the ones with big capital expenditures, we are talking millions of USD. Otherwise, however attractive it might look, it will most likely fail in the nearest future. Of course some people make money on small projects too, but you have to be a real expert to know when exactly to sell your tokens.

ICOs, if you know which ones to invest in. But there are lots of scams out there, its hard to sift through the cryptoland to find a good one. If you do land a good one, you might just be set for life.
In saying that, i don't mean that altcoins aren't profitable, they are hugely profitable and this leaves the guesswork out mostly, because once the token reaches an exchange you can fairly assume where its heading based on candle graphs and many other tools. I think a combination of both is what you as an investor should aim for.

if you invest in ICO, you cant sell when you need money. You need to wait for exchanges. also you cant even be sure which ICO is scam. Trading on altcoin is more reliable for me. there is stop loss option and you can take your money when you need

I agree with you. If you want to invest for a long time, you should select ICO's, If you don't you should select Altcoins

From my perspective i will invest on ico. But before invest better you doing some research for example what product or services it sell.and you could see from the sale of softcap and hardcap you could judge from it and take a decision from it. The success ico represent from the market hype. Altcoin is good invest too but the good alt will above 1$ different from ico that could be below 1$.

I personally always invest to ICOs that have a real products to offer and their coin will have real use. I invest to the future, not to make just profits.

I prefer Altcoin, I bought coins only in Etherdelta and not through ICO because in Etherdelta coins are more cheaper than ICO rate. And I notice also that the coin price is dropped low after the ICO and when it hit Cryptocurrency exchanges the prices are decreasing so that's why it's better to invest through Cryptocurrency exchange while ICO.

Most times one can get confused on which to choose out of the two because looking at it, both can be quite profitable if you choose the right ones. Me my self chose existing alt over ICOs, cause i think it more safe. But sometimes i joining ICO if that ICO make me interested, such as what project they devlop. I love taking risk though, so as long at the begining you choose wisely wich ICO you invest youll make a decent good profit from it.
I prefer to invest in altcoins as well, since at least you're sure you won't lose all of your money on that. ICOs are too risky for now. And they usually have quite high minimum investment requirements, whereas on the exchange you can buy a bit of coins to experiment rather than make a serious investment.

Why do you mention bitcoin? Do all icos only accept investments in btc? If one goes for trading it is usually done via btc as well anyway, so I don't think it matters here. Or do you mean that ICOs are at risk when btc price is facing huge price changes?

Also you can avoid to those scam ICO by read it first there propose project or by study first there white paper.

The problem is that in most cases the description of their project looks very attractive  and their whitepaper looks perfect. It's almost impossible to decide whether it;s scam or not by reading those documents.

To boost your chances of making the right choice when choosing an ICO to invest in, you should look for one in which many people are investing.

~
Or its better if you invest in both of them, to know which is much profitable.

I've never understood this kind of advices.  Why both? Why to make losing a part of your money in the future a certain thing? Do some research and then make your investment. If you are still not sure then invest only a part of your money but don't invest in both. Make a decision. Of course you should do it after considering the options you have, but you have to make a decision.

It is depending in a ICO if it has a good overall reputation and overview with their vision what they are trying to make. Investing on it can make big return after they add it on exchange in counter part there is also a chance of not gaining a profit it some problems or delays etc. around after the sale. Its almost the same in altcoins when it has been added but atleast in the ICO you have a much big chance to a maximum profit with respect to a bonus sale for the first investors for a limited days or time.

We can't be so sure because not all ICO's succeed even if they offer great services. It is better to be safe at least so I will go for altcoins which is more established compare to any ICO. Well, I also invest on ICO but its just a small amount of money and I didn't expect to get higher profit on that. With regards to this question my best advice is to invest on the most reliable and a successful altcoin, why not on ico? Because there are many ico scams right now and it will not be good for your money because you will be dumped right after you invest on the wrong ico. For me, if you pick to invest on an altcoin, be sure to read well and check the potential of that altcoin so that you will have no doubt in investing.

ICO and altcoin is the same for me. scam or not it depend on you to values the project. Some ICOs might be successful and some might drop because lack on marketing or whatever. Altcoins also can be drop and turn to scam if the project failure. so to me i will search a good ICOs and altcoins that undervalues with a dedicated team to make it work. No risk no gain. it all luck and how smart you are.

I think this is a sign that you have no confidence in the project. If the project is examined in all aspects. You should be full of credit to the project. A detailed study of the ICo project was carried out in the early stage. The first investment option is ICO. Because the return is very rich.

I think ico is more profitable than altcoin, especially if ico that already have big investors from the beginning like Fuzex co, where the project has got investment fund injection from TaaS

it depends on how you weigh each of them and also the way they contribute in the crypto currency.Sometimes there are ICOs that have good projects or successful on their project and there are altcoins that have great potential in the crypto market,so it is really going to be depending on how you will weigh them. So if you are ready to take a risk, try investing on both of them so that if one fails, you will know what to do next time.

if in my opinion, than you invest in ICO it will be too much risk let alone do not know the ins and outs / roadmap of ICO and ICO that you do not successful invest it will be a failure in itself.
if my advice is better to invest into ALT COIN.karena it is certain that it also has a fairly small risk than the ICO

If you have a decent budget that you are planning to invest in cryptocurrency, i'd advise you to divide it into some parts and invest both in ICOs and altcoins. this will make your portfolio more flexible and give you more chances to succeed.

I think maybe because right now many ICO is show up and some of them are become successful but some of them are scam, also its difficult to know whose ICO is scam or not. While the other is the best way to invest because they have potential to grow your coins and possible to be successful in the future. Invest in your future and buy a little bankera. 0.2 eth or a little more is enough too.not too much risk. in my signature you can see bankera. I think that's a good ico. Over 63,000 participants already

I would choose altcoins. There are so many ICOs now, that the market is too saturated. There is a chance the ICO will make you a lot of money, but I think the risk that the ICO will fail is much larger. I believe altcoins would be a much safer investment.

Hello! Sometimes an ICO can give you c2-10 by the end of all the stages, but it's very rare. Of course it's very profitable to participate in the ICO when you are on the white list and you can get a 50% bonus (pre-sale stage)
For example Acorn and so on... but there is always a risk of a token falling 2-3 times after the release on the exchange. I had the experience of two variation

I prefer altcoins because they are somewhat stable however ICO can give the most profit if you are lucky enough to pick the right one. Probably best to diversify between they two if possible.

ICO even if pre ICO, they usually give discounted price for their alt-coin purchase so if want to quickly get alt-coin with cheaper price then better investment ICO

I think this is effective a year ago but so far from what i observe in the market usually the coins get lower way below pre-ico price in the first time it gets listed. Bounty hunters becoming more and more every year so dumpers (usually bounty hunters) will surely lower its price due to the fact that the coin they get is free.

ICOs are more risky compared to altcoins that are already in exchange but ICOs are more profitable comapared to altcoins. there are still good ICOs there just do your own research or if you don't want high risk you can buy altcoins.
high risk high profit :)

Icos are like a roulette, you can find the most promising project on hearth but maybe it will end in a flop for various motives, besides if you get the right ico you can have huge gains. Alts are less risky but also in general they let you gain less than icos.

In my opinion, if you choose a good ICO after investing then must invest here, altcoins can buy but it's not like ICO, so choose better ICO,  always investigate about the project before invest. But I think ICO invest is the risk for a newbie.

IMO altcoins would be safe bet compared to ICO as many of the ICOs are shitcoins created just for collecting money has no good idea or team behind that ICO and it can also be a scam.Altcoins has shown great returns compared to ICOs but choosing right coin can be profitable whereas finding one is really hard.

ICO is the first step of any Altcoin. You pay less money than it will be on the exchange after several months of waiting.
If you want to invest in new tokens you should take a part in ICO.
For example - Velix.ID project.  It is the system that creates a universal, clear, transparent, decentralized and cost-effective ecosystem for identity verification.  No doubt Velix.ID will take its place and price of the tokens will grow.

It is true that investing in Altcoin seems to be safe but I do prefer ICO simply because this is where you will hit the jackpot, as they say in order for you to succeed you will need to take a risk. However, if you can try both then it will be better.

Best to invest in altcoin in the top 100 at CMC. will help you safe. Do not invest in ICO if you are newbie in ICO. it's too dangerous. There are many scam ICOs at the moment. But after few days, After good researching, When you will find a potential ICO then you must invest in ICO. ICO is the good and easy way to earn good money! Good Luck Mate

I chose to invest in the ico with 30% of the capital investment, 50% of the funds invested in altcoin and 20% of the capital investment BTC. Although altcoin is very risky, altcoin has the highest yield.

ICO and altcoin do not seem very different, but altcoin is usually created from fork while ICO is created because of the startup that requires funding for the program to be done and they offer the coin they use for funding the planned project, to be more secure indeed trading in altcoin but it would not hurt to try to participate in ICO.

There is no certainty when it comes to type of investment in crypto. Sometimes participating in an Ico is the best option sometimes buying some high potential alt coin is better. You can only invest and hope for the best but if you can spot a good ico that will surely hit hard cap , investing in it would probably bring you alt of profit.

It is best to divide the investment portfolio. 60-70% invest in altcoyins, the remaining 30-40% invest in ICO. Diversification)

For sure investing in ICO is a way better than altcoin that is already in an exchange. Why? because the value of an altcoin in an exchange can have a fluctuation everyday, it doesn't have a constant rise up. In ICO, if you pick a good project and have a best developer team, they will do their best to make the coin valuable and very interesting. There are huge chances that will make the coin expensive.

Both have their qualities and both have their disadvantages, in relation to ICO you have the opportunity to follow the token step by step, participate in growth and can profit and with minimal investments,

Both are risky, I think this time should invest in alcoin is safer. Since there are many ico now and the management of the ico tighten, it is very difficult for a ico to exist.

I think the decision is yours.
however you should check it before actually investing in ico or altcoin. basically every case will not always be the same. I like investing in ico, but before I invest, try to research and analyze as a whole. if it meets the criteria, I will try to invest it. otherwise investment on altcoin.

Investing to an ICO or altcoins are both profitable with risk, and choosing altcoins is more safer to invest. But if you want a bigger earnings, you can invest to an ICO, that might give you more profit if the project that you had invested will be successful. But the problem is, it takes more risk. It's all up to you mate, the decision is always on you. Just make sure to do a lot of research first before you go into something that you know that is not easy.
