Title: Looking for people to create a game.
Post by: GoldenNugget on January 20, 2018, 10:10:32 PM
I am trying to find people to bring a idea to life. I'm looking for people who are passionate about gaming. I will put everything together as i find people and can make a solid team. My idea is to make a game that uses Crypto Currency as the actual in game currency. Pretty much you would take BTC and buy the currency the game uses. You would start in a Real Money MMORPG. You would make all your purchases in game with the currency. I am looking to make the game very detailed and also include virtual mining where you would mine your self or hire workers to mine for you as well. You would be able to kill monsters and gain rewards those rewards could be auctioned off to other players or sold back to venders in game for the crypto currency. The world will start very basic and the players would build the world. The land in the world would be sold to the player as the ICO. Lets say the ICO raises 40m everyone would get land depending on how much they spent in the ICO. You would go out into the world and collect resources to start building houses or you could spend money and buy various things that will be needed. This game would be profitable to play it would have Mining and Staking alike that you would do in game at the banks where you could earn interest on coins stakes or hire workers like a mining contract or you can actually go out into the world and mine yourself. I just started putting this all together and wanted to see if anyone was interested in being a part of it.

It's a good idea but i think there are already several games with the same idea, like Second Life for the chance to make money doing the same ''job'' as real life, Entropia Universe could be for killing monsters and get money. I don't want to say that your idea is plagiarism of other games, but, it would be interesting to see the final result

Could you talk more about the game?

Is there something in your game that sets it apart from others? (except for bitcoin)

Excuse my bad english

~TL~

So long story short, you're looking for something barely put together like Landmark (the game) or something that is put together really well? Like Archeage? Who will fund this project? You? or are you looking for investors as well?

I would like to officially reserve any dead or alive known and unknown translation for those languages for all the ICOs which any beggar now could launch thanks to you. if you could implement prostitution in this game, I could moderate them and jump on virtual young prostitutes occasionally. you need game *devs, what is your role then?

I like this idea but think that the cost is too high. Games cost a lot to make and it is hard to find people to work for free, and it takes a lot of people and a lot of time. What are you able to contribute?

His idea's are great. You know what it feels like when your a gamer, the real world and the game would merge because of crypto. Gaming with earning that's awesome, as a gamer I feel so excited to play that game. I hope you could find a great team to build this dream of your's.

I have a game currently made (not released) it was created in Unity and able to be compiled for both iOS and Google. However, I don't know the first thing about adding BTC or any other altcoin as a form of payment. I would be willing to work with a few people on this project (for a fee of course).

My game is NOT an MMORPG, however.

I can not help with this but can you share some screens or something of the game? Getting more uses for bitcoins is great for the future!

I somehow come across somewhere with the same idea but of course there's a difference from theirs and yours. Anyway, where will you get the money, the coins or token to reward the users. To elaborate, they mine in your in game but it doesn't mean that they actually mined though still they should have real and equivalent value which if they decided to cash out then they can and all the time that they had spent playing this game would not go to waste. It is not "just" a game after all but you're trying to say that you can also "earn."

Do you have some hash power to back this up? Also, I think you should use the in game currency as the thing to sell in your ICO but of course you need to turn it into a token which means it is also tradable rather than just spend it in game.

Maybe it could work to add a small mining power like pos to the game so you automatically stake coins while you are playing. I think that would be a good thing to help support the coin and make it easier...
