Title: Thoughts on this?

Looks good. Anyone know anything about it?

Quote
Several years ago, an Ethereum's (ETH) founder and one of its first developers, Houwu Chen,
wrote an interesting whitepaper, titled: "SkyHash: A Hash Opinion Dynamics Model"

With the help of former Bitcoin developers, Skycoin (SKY) was born.

Skycoin (SKY) is not a simple blockchain project but is designed as a platform and foundation
infrastructure for supporting an ecosystem of applications. Skycoin (SKY) is focused on core
features, security, and usability. A coin that fixes all the problems with previous generation
cryptocurrencies by implementing Satoshi's original vision for a decentralized cryptocurrency.

Skycoin (SKY) didn't concentrate on marketing and as a result of being an open source
project, their ideas and code have been stolen and replicated countless times among some
well-known altcoins. Have you heard of Ripple (XRP)? What Skycoin (SKY) has implemented
is the next generation of Cryptocurrencies. A new consensus algorithm to achieve true
decentralization which enables anyone to become an Internet Service Provider.

Skycoin (SKY) provides a brand-new consensus mechanism for managing the three elements
of decentralized computing: computing + storage + network. It brings us a new consensus
mechanism that can be used for a world computer.

Satoshi Nakamoto has been quoted on numerous occasions acknowledging that “mining is
Bitcoin's only flaw - miners are the greatest non-cryptographic threat to Bitcoin retaining
value on geographic time scales - mining introduce human factors and greed into the
survivability of Bitcoin as a currency.” It is no surprise, Skycoin (SKY) was designed to
eliminate mining completely and eliminate the problems it creates. Skycoin (SKY) supersedes
reliance on honest miners with reliance on mathematics and is backed by an anonymous and
private Internet.

It wasn't possible for SKY to launch on a massive scale earlier because the hardware wasn't
available. With advancements in technology, the hardware finally exists to sustain Skycoin’s
(SKY) infrastructure for supporting an ecosystem of applications.

The next Bitcoin knocks on the door.

We are talking about guys that were involved in the crypto space since the beginning.
Houwu Chen, Satoshi Nakamoto, and founders who hold insanely substantial amounts of
Bitcoin (BTC).

A few weeks ago Skycoin (SKY) hired several CTOs, marketing, and video firms. Skycoin
(SKY) recently finished the process to get listed on 3 of the biggest exchanges and
already paid millions in signup fees.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see Ripple (XRP) like growth in Q1 – 2018 for Skycoin.

Skycoin can be a good long term investment. Though a tough competition  and old established options making the largest gain, we've also seen an overall increase in the price of alts. And as of Skycoin, I can't call it a purely genuine concept, but it's a concept that works and that haven't till now.
