IS THERE ANY CHANCES FOR LITE COIN TO RAISE UPTO 1000$ IN 2018..?

I think that Litecoin will still cost much more than today, because the project team is very much working on the project and it is possible its price will rise after the Chinese New Year.

LiteCoin has a good potential for further growth but pinpointing a specific amount or value at a specific time may be difficult. It would be safe to say that LiteCoin can be more than $400 at the end of the year not unless something dramatic will intervene making LiteCoin be super-attractive to buyers. As of now, the focus of the limelight has shifted to Ripple as the possible successor to Bitcoin (though I really doubt if it can be able to get into that soon especially that Bitcoin will soon be coming up with measures to solve its myriad of problems). One thing for sure is that LiteCoin has still some prowess reserve inside we just have to wait for them to be unleashed and them BOOM!

Well, nothing is impossible. If some people wakeup and decide to pump it, it might get to that price and even higher. But Litecoin has been a coin with steady growth, no significant pump and dump. I think it will so well in 2018, but I can't say if it will get to  $1000 by Dec.

Fingers crossed, I think it probably will. When? Who knows but like someone has already said here its a slow burner unlike other coins, give it time.

I do not think that will keep the price of litecoins from 0.02 to 0.009 BTC. Depending on the price of bitcoins, the Litecoins exchange rate also increases. But let's see that we do not know what's going to happen so let's say that the time will set

 I don't think the litecoin whales will allow it to rise that fast. If it can get there at all, in my opinion litecoin is not worth 1000.

I also believe in Litecoin and I hope that in 2018 it will be at least $ 1000. This project has a very good team and I am sure that they will be strengthened to develop this project in 2018.

If you check the Litecoins Chart, you'll see that it had an almost stable price throughout 2015 and 2016, and then it had a price rally in 2017 from below $10 to 322 in December.
It means that this coin has potential to grow more the coming months but I am not sure if it is possible to reach 1000 the end of this year. Charlie Lee's move to sell his own currency had a negative impact on the investors.

Yes, but the entire marketcap of litecoin should be 10 times more higher than what it is right now. So no, with the actual bearish market that we have right now, consider it something almost "impossible". But yes, maybe it can, but no one knows when.

the thing about litecoin is that it is not a useful coin. despite all the development and all the efforts of them. this year it had a huge rise which remained up (like most altcoins) only because bitcoin started having a lot of troubles in the past year and also because most altcoins kept their alt/btc value up which meant increasing in USD value even if they were dropping hard against /btc.

and when they activated SegWit and started the rest of the things coming with that such as LN, they gained an edge which helped with the rise of it. but that edge is no longer there anymore. but the "bitcoin has high fees" edge is still there just like it is there for most of the altcoins.

with that said i think rise is possible but probably not that high. specially when bitcoin starts gaining more efficiency and goes back to having lower fees.

There's a chance, it's developer Charlie Lee is very transparent on the updates he's doing with Litecoin. ETH reached unexpectedly $1,000 before the end of 2017 and the same thing goes to Litecoin for this year although it will be a long way for it since it's current price is only $170.

Speaking about December 2018, it is likely that it can cost much more than what you indicated, I think that this year the prices for crypto-currencies will increase by 100 times, so I think we should not worry about this.

You are coming up so early for December price prediction of LTC while we are still in the January of 2018.The answer is maybe there are some chances of hitting $1000 in this year but no guarantee.
But Litecoin is one of the future coin for sure so it is better to make our investment in long term while LTC is available for cheaper like about $170 for 1LTC.

Litecoin has X4 max supply than bitcoin and 3.5 X circulating supply than bitcoin  
Litecoin has Great Team and a great roadmap ahead. keeping this in mind it should be 1/4th value of bitcoin i.e. 2500 at bitcoin price 10,000 USD.

Too many factors affect the course of today's crypto and technology and a good team is not enough. You can not predict the exact price of Litecoin. But growth will be exact!

If we see another crypto media blitz definitely, because it's one of the 3 main coins on Coinbase. But with what's been happening lately, I don't think we will be seeing that.

It's possible because LiteCoin is the one of the fastest Cryptocurrency in the market and is the reason why I invested in it because I know the value and price will increase in the next few months from now.
LiteCoin will hit $1,000 in the end of the year and I believe in LiteCoin and I'm excited to witness the next target hits in the future.

There's a lot of investors are buying LiteCoin today because of the dipping so I know the market capital value would increase and in the end of the year it is possible to hit the target of $1,000 and I know that LiteCoin is going somewhere in the top.

The LTC we talked about has grown good and always consistent on the price for BTC,I always pay attention to this one coin how dev will issue a powerful weapon to boost the price.I think LTC might be about the $500 price just before the middle of the year because LTC was once in $300 If I'm not mistaken range beginning of the year now.

Please stop this bullshit, how you are saying about a non-sense thing if litecoin raise up to 1k in this year. Charlie lie even sold all of their shares, We are back to $100 range again and the fact the there is a lot of coins that even better than litecoin. XRB gives you instant transaction and zero fees. At the same time, the new platform will come to give better and better scalability solution.

several years ago LTC price was pretty low even some people does not believe LTC will raise up just like we can see currently but i always believe the coin which have top 10 position at coinmarketcap such as LTC will have bright future at least will survive for next several years because basically people still supporting those coin market and the percentages to be lack of interest is pretty small however to reach $1000 at the end of this year is pretty heavy to LTC

Litcoins can be more than the price of 1000$ by December because, alongside bitcoins, ether and ripple the most stable currency is litecoins . It market cap proves it will be the most demanding currency in the months to come.

LTC has great news to come in the coming months. I am not selling any LTC until $1000.

I think it will not rise to 1000$ this year Dec, but surely around next year mid.

If you ask me, I will say $1k is pretty much high. According to me $500 is the next margin so when it reaches this price I will sell my LTC. And after that again it will come down, and I will buy again.

I am not telling holding a long term is wrong but you people will miss the chance to increase your coins.

Many people don't believe but coins like litecoin, ethereum and bitcoin will keep booming in next 12 months. $1000 may seem crazy but I think its frankly possible, and its not even that high.

Ltc has risen from $3 to $250 , you are now being greedy ltv is currently having a downtrend because there isn't any major news for it , i do remember that a lighting network was promised, I'm assuming the developers are currently working on it if it's true then I'm sure your $1k dream will be true by december.

Yes i think litecoin will increase not only in december but i think next month because as day passed many people are now using cryptocurrencies especially in their business so this litecoin mght increase too

it is difficult to say now. because all crypto market prices was decreasing frequently. let be crypto market as constant. wait untill that time.

litcoin is the third big coin coming out in the coming days. constantly on the agenda and popular. people want to invest in litcoine, but they do not show the patience required. Litcoin will be in good spots in 6 months. so you have to wait after you receive it.

Yes there is always a chance that litecoin would be able to reach that price because in crypto, anything is possible as we can see that there is too much manipulation in the price. If you have observe, once the whales decide to pump a coin, coin would rise like it seems impossible to reach that but when majority participates in it then it would be able to reach that amount. Total Market capitalization would be in trillions then if that happens.

LTC can grow this year. It seems to me that the price of 1000 dollars for a coin is quite attainable. And if bitcoin does not solve the problem of long transactions, then the demand for this coin will be much higher.

Wow, I see many Forum members support the idea of the author. As for me, I doubt very much that Litecoin can reach a thousand of dollars close to the end of 2018. My bet is $400 maximum, but I can be also mistaken.
