ASICMiner's wishes are that it be a 1:1 promo.  meaning that if you bought 1 miner you get 1 .10 coupon.  if you bought 2, you get 2 .10 coupons if you bought 100, you get 100 .10 coupons etc... etc...

Price is the same as on the first batch: .15 per unit which includes domestic shipping.  International buyers will have additional shipping fees and they will be worked on per order.  International orders may not be processed as fast as domestic orders due to additional handling time to get shipping quotes.

You are welcome to email me a label if you want fedex/express or otherwise your own shipping method (domestically only).

You are correct, difficulty is lower when the price was 1.99 per BE.  but lets say a person bought 1.99 BE in June (where difficulty is 20 mil,) he earns .25 btc by July. Then on july the price is dropped to .99. He "lost" 0.75 btc.

I was thrilled to be included in the first 0.1 coupon (I only got 5 block erupters on that one).  I am excitedly awaiting my next 0.1 coupon from you.  This not only helps bring down my average cost per erupter, but is just in time to ease the pain of the 65M difficulty coming up next week.

I know you'll be very busy here once the DHL shipment gets to your doorstep, but what exactly is your opinion of these coupons?  And what would you have done differently?  (A quick reader's digest version is fine.)

Earlier in this thread, I was upset at a lack of communication/information on my order from the 1st coupon promotion. On Monday, Canary checked his records and noticed a mistake that mislead him to thinking my order had shipped when in fact it hadn't. He apologized profusely and sent out my order the next day. I got it today, and the box included another miner above and beyond my order.

I'm glad this got sorted out, and anyone who orders from Canary should be confident that even if something does go wrong, he'll make sure to make it up to you.

I saw someone at 0.17 BTC at some other threads if you guys want to buy, unsure if that was a reputable vendor.

  well .15 btc includes shipping and handling.  So if you got 2 or 3 sticks he makes no money.   
Many people were entitled to only a few coupons.  Your argument is less then perfect for many of his customers. 

 Myself I got 36 coupons so I paid 5.4 coins rather then 3.6 coins and say .3 -.4  for handling/shipping.  So some would say he over charged me 1 to 1.5 coins.

 I say fast shipping,  a few returns accepted for  dead sticks. 2 out of 200 how arrived doa. the  orders correctly filled. More then 70 btc paid to him with no issues.  Well that extra 1-1.5 btc should buy him and his family a nice dinner and the treat is on me! Happy to buy from one of the few btc people that deliver the goods on time.

So he is real and delivers on time.

Canary is definitely real and delivers on time usually, I've ordered over 200 from him, their sometimes a lack of communication,  he's a top notch reseller though, I would just like a confirmation of my order. That's all

This.  I had 2 orders of 2 sticks each.  He barely broke even shipping those out to me.

I had about 80 total. So we paid shipping for all the folks that got one or two.
Which I'm fine with. Too big an operation to nickel and dime every transaction. Our resale margin was very healthy anyway.

I think the OP was quite clear about the costs involved. You should follow the instructions to have a trouble-free transaction.

I have at least 8-9 PMs with him back and forth on this coupon thing. The only responses I got from him was "Read the OP" or "Let me know if you don't want the coupons".  Charging 50% of a 0.1 coupon for shipping simply does not make sense, especially since this a gratuity for previous purchases. This is close to $35 for 5 sticks, when I was able to print the label for around $5. This probably discourages folks to re-deem the coupons so the sticks can be sold later for a profit.

okay I just got my last 6 coupons fulfilled they came today.

 
  I got my 3 old style blades yesterday. I have decided to sell them and stay with sticks. I prefer the sticks and even though the older blades can push 12gh or 36 sticks I like the sticks better.  Canary  has been a really good seller to me I think I have purchased 200 sticks and 3 blades I have to go back and add it all up.

I have similar misgivings about this practice. On a small scale (1-2 sticks) this may be reasonable, but for anything more than that, especially if we are supplying our own shipping label, it is simply unacceptable. Charging an extra .05 BTC would be enough to cover shipping for the first 14 sticks, although I realize that there are more costs involved than just shipping, but assuming he's processes thousands of these (it was 1300 from the first wave of coupons) he's made more than some people do in a year off of this promotion alone. Granted Canary is putting a large amount of time and effort into distribution of these miners, I don't see why he should be making such an inordinate amount of money off of this.

To those saying he was clear on the terms of the promotion, he was most certainly not. If you don't see what I mean, just look at the title of this thread. Additionally, with his past group buys he has offered the option of letting us supply a shipping label and (from what I can tell) reducing the markup per stick from .05 BTC to .01 BTC; why he is not offering this option for what was supposed to be a promotion is simply beyond me.

Then do us a favor will you.  Don't  send your coupon in. Tell canary you won't use the coupon because its a scam and that you refuse to post here again until you get a 0.01 coupon.

Wow some people are really amazing >:( . Yes, Canary makes money on this venture, are you really surprised? The guy has to spend hours  on the forums organizing these group buys, spending his time off going to the post office, FedEx, DHL or whatever. He has to repack all the items and ship them off. Then he comes back and has to spend time telling people which orders were sent out, rinse repeat.

He is a RESELLER not a monk that took a vow of poverty and servitude. If you don’t like his sales go use someone else. Or even better spend a few hours on the forums organizing a group buy. When you get enough for a minimum order, contact Friedcat , spend some of your time off at the post office, FedEx, DHL or whatever. Come home to log into the forums to find some tools bitching about every little detail.
 
Do all that for gratis, and I’ll still shop from Canary because he knows what he is doing, he delivers and he has been doing the for long enough to gain a good reputation.

When I wrote this 0.05 BTC is only $7.28 to cover shipping, handling and the risk of the price of BTC falling after you sent yours in. Do I wish it was free? Sure! And I wish Pizza Hut would deliver 2 hot blonds a large pizza for free. THEY DON’T! You gotta pay extra AND tip the driver.

I don't think there is an expiration date on them.

After one week they go to the next person in line.

So you do loose the ability to use them after that time.

Thanks Canary!  I'll go track it down on Tuesday.  The advantage of having door service in this neighborhood is that I don't have to leave my porch to get my mail.  The disadvantage is that packages are delivered separately and by a carrier with no familiarity with how our apartment complex works.  Knowing that delivery time actually helps a lot b/c it was after our carrier comes on Saturdays (he'll usually bring me the package if it's delivered before he gets there, or at least put it in the right location).  I'm guessing exactly what happened with group buy 3 is happening again, so I'll go have a chat with security to see if they can take a look through the mail safes tonight!

We live in different time zones, communication adds time and international orders are not that easy/fast to handle in general.  Domestic orders have priority on distribution.

Working on getting shipments out, working through backlog, so it's just not feasible to get Everything out today... will do my best, fifo method..

my account with USPS.com seems to be having some kind of an issue...

Which Hubs did you order?  They didn't have the Anker 10 port hubs anymore.

I've purchased both the Anker 10 port and the newer model, the Anker 10 port broke after a month and is currently being returned to Anker for a refund. The new 9 port is working flawlessly so far.

I personally prefer the dlink 7ports + the rpi

For other 10 ports I also have 1 10 port Orico and 1 10 port Aitech, but these are not compatible w/ the pi

I ordered the 9 port as well and am waiting on them.  Would the Aitech be compatible w/Win7 PC?  I'm not familiar with the Pi.

I did too order the 'new' 10-port Anker (http://www.amazon.com/Release-Anker%C2%AE-Uspeed-Charging-Adapter/dp/B005NGQWL2), which is really 9+1. It ships with a 5A PS though which is good, and there were a couple postings stating that you can use all 10 ports.

I have one of the older 10-port Ankers today, though because the older PS was only 4A it get's problematic to use more than 8 Erupters on it.

We shall see, it should arrive sometime today.

If you purchased directly from anker you can use all 10 ports and burn the thing out and request a RMA for it, I've used the AiTech and Orico with all 10 ports and no problems as of yet.

Tiered pricing is slanted heavily towards bulk buyers/reseller.  You get the most savings by buying in bulks for reselling on eBay/Amazon or wherever else you may be selling.

The way my computer / devices are set up are near a large powerful fan so a small one isn't really worth it for me, the large fan wind hits all my hubs / usb's and myself so its a win win, and I can barely hear it spin.
