Will the XVG (verge) hardfork increase its value ?

Why would you think like that ? BTC have a dozen of fork none of them make any different with bitcoin price. even ethereum have fork, do etherzero make ethereum price increase ? Spoiler alert, its not.

Typically the trend is if there is hardfork which is going to happen, for example in case of ETC fork, the mere news itself brought a uptrend in ETC graph and hit $40 from $30, although it lost its gain subsequently when entire crypto market was red in next few days. As ppl expect to gain more forked coins by buying original currency. This is my understanding.

I want to know what experts in the community think who may have benefitted from other forks !

Just to point out, this xvg fork will not spawn any new coins as a result so current holders will not get any new coins.

usually they just want to get a big profit by buying tokens with 1: 1, the community and I would want to buy the token, with the price in the market already exists (although the desired token has not appeared)

I think XVG will go up for a while and after the hardfork is finished XVG price will fall again will even fall far from the initial price before going hardfork (according to my prediction)

Yea verge hardfork last night, i think so. Verge will be top gainer 2018.
Looking at the ever hardfork crypto, producing a new coin whose value equates to the parent coin,
But what's the newly generated coin verge after hardfork??

Verge is priced waay too high just as Ripple is.  They will crash.  Billions of coins are never a good bet.

If you look at Bitcoin as the primary example any hardfork does not increase the value of the parent coin itself, however if you add together the value of the newly forked coin and the parent then you normally will come out ahead.

They seem to improve thr blockchain with this new fork. But there wont be any new coin, xvg will remain xvg, seems like internal changes.

People want to get free forked coin by buying the original coin, why anyone want to take such a risk ? What if something like NXT happend in every fork coin ? you know right the price droping 60% a minute before fork happend and everybody end up losing money cause chasing the non real unrelease coin, except the whale whu dump right before it.

agreed NXT was totally pumped for IGNIS

since, xvg is simply improving their underlying tech with this hardfork and not generating new coins. will have to wait and see what happens

I have my XVG Coin on BINANCE. How binance users would benefit from this fork? what can I expect ? What I have to do to get new coins?
