Is there any project which is using blockchain technology in defence industry? I guess DAPRA is working for it but I'm not sure of that. If you know any project about that can you share here? And You think Why defence companies don't working for developing blockchain tech? They need cryptology and blockchain serving this. THX ;)

If they are working on that, they wouldn't make it public. These three letter agencies are very secretive, so if they created a blockchain, it would ultimately be a private blockchain which is not exciting because it's just a regular database more or less. What makes cryptocurrencies exciting is that they have to survive in the wild.

Intelligence agencies work on encryption and decryption mostly, on the actual algorithms, such as SHA-256, which bitcoin uses.

 Lockheed Martin started to adopt the blockchain technology. (It is the world's largest defence contractor (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockheed_Martin)). Another company is Guardtime, providing blockchain solutions to Estonia. The interest from defence companies is increasing but I think it's more for a large-scale military logistics/supply chain management

Well it only make sense that these agencies might use private decentralized networks to decrease the risk of centralized network been taken down in one attack. Decentralized networks and redundancy is a perfect defensive strategy against external attacks and they might even be working on strategies to take them down, if the enemy are using it.

The problem with these decentralized networks is the additional cost involved to protect these extra satellite/disaster recovery sites. <Not that the Defence department cannot afford that>  ::)
