This might seem strange that the developer of Extremecoin wants to buy some of the coin he released but like I said at the start, I don't believe in having a pre-mine on any of my released coins.

Right now I cannot mine them, do to my rigs doing something else so I would like to buy some.

I am willing to spend 1 BTC.

The highest offer gets the trade, which will be done on this thread and the Extremecoins will be sent first, on confirmation I have received them, I will send the 1 BTC.

If I don't believe and have faith in my own coin, how can I expect others too.

Is there any exchange or at least quasi-exchange you are backing your price on?

If the Dev's don't mine or use their own product then how can they expect others too?

If I was mining on a pool and I saw a Dev mining on there too, that would give me confidence it the fact that they not only develop the coin but like it and want to support its network.

All Dev's should mine their own coin, its their network and they are supporting it with even just a little bit of hashing power. And the returns from mining can be used in giveaway and such.

There is no exchange, not hint of this getting on an exchange. Just quiet a few people mining it, a few users requesting on certain forums for it to be added and also added on any new exchange that might pop up.

This coin is very much in the grey zone when it comes to value.

It could end up on an exchange next week or in 6 months.

All I can do is develop it, fix problems, support the network and promote it, the rest is down to the exchanges.

Version 1.1 of this coin which will be getting released in the coming weeks, will address issues and bring about some very interesting changes.

Normally I would agree with you, but I don't agree in this case.  Have you ever saw a developer offer to buy his own coin before?  To me that's a positive indication of a developer's commitment to the coin.

P.S. Unfortunately my miner is slow, so I'm already past the point of "all in" on this auction.
