im looking for a week(until an ico) so i can keep a bit of my eth. i was looking at stratis because it should be around the same price or higher(15$). the coin should be stable or around the same as it is now. suggestions?

Buy TRX, and some BCN and ripple.
They will come back later on.

Not sure about stratis and why? It causes by there's a lot of FUDs to the crypto. When someone in Wallstreet has been making a statement about the crypto should be back to the bottom, or at least it will be lost over 70% of its value. And then you can try waiting a little bit before you are deciding on investing your money. But stratis looks at very dip right now but this even deeper than before. Looks a good time to buy.

The dump won't last forever, I think it will reverse next month and at the same time LISK is going to relaunch so there will be two reasons for LISK to pump. Another development to keep an eye on is mobilego which is opening a new store next month. Lots of opportunities while weak hands are letting go. Lots of newbies this time around, they've never seen a dump before so as usual they will be back when the prices are high again ;D

Kucoin shares are really cheap now and it's a token with passive income.

Another good and cheap tokens now are PRL and TFL.

I am also confident that the next month for LISK will be very successful. It has long been in the coin and it is high time for it to grow. I plan to buy more closer to February 20 (Rebranding).

In my opinion, mostly coins that had dipped big enough to at least 20% after the dip. If your you purpose to gain big enough then this would be a good strategy. Of course, you still need to evaluate the coin before buying.

Still I would give it a try - those coins are at 25% of their January maxima. There is a possibility that they will do +50% in a week. But of course, the risk is higher.

You could pretty much buy anything right now and make some money. Just make sure you are buying in with fiat during the dip. Otherwise, you are just trading an undervalued coin for an undervalued coin.

Right now, you could pretty much just buy some ETH or LTC with fiat and hold it for a few weeks and make a substantial profit no doubt.

For high risk (and unethical) gains the OP can participate in those stupid pump and dump telegram groups. The only key is to buy ASAP and sell not later than a minute after. Almost guaranteed +30 to +50% gain. Kids who HODL for >3 minutes usually lose their money or (in a better case) do not earn anything. I have tried it yesterday for fun with about 0.05ETH and got back with 0.08ETH.

The good answer is to invest in the low-cap altcoin when the price is cheap as now because the altcoin will rebound higher than Bitcoin when the price will recover As for me, I prefer to buy Ethereum right now because it is dirty cheap, one ethereum is only 950usd. For low market cap altcoin, I recommend the whalecoin and the elixir, both are very promising and have a great team behind.

Most of crypto currency's price low now. You can buy now trx,xrp,iota. These coins are very potential for future. Price will be rising with short time. Buy and hold for long term. You can buy btc,eth also because price is negotiable now.

Neo seems to be extremely resistant to FUD and market dips between altcoins. On the 17th-18th where such market dip last occured it rebounded from 90 to 155 within 2 days(ATH of ~200 I remind you). So assuming the market recovers to 600 or better total market cap NEO until you need the money NEO seems like a good choice especially if you get them in an exchange that credits you with their respective gas dividends(who doesnt like free money anyway?).
TRX was another clear winner in the last dip, went from 5cents to 10 overnight so if it dips sufficiently now I would expect a similar trend but in general this is much more risky than just getting NEO.

This isnt entirely true as some alts with potential got annihilated with double or triple the % of losses compared to market's main players.

Btc and eth are good buy now because they are cheaper and would rise soon perhaps in 2 months. Other altcoins worth considering are xrp, iota, ltc, stratis, neo, waves which i think will be up in short time. I am also thinking of   low market cap elixir, kucoin and ins which have good potentials for investment.

Well, there is always exceptions to the rule. That being said, if you spend fiat money and purchase any of the high market cap coins right now, (BTC, ETH, LTC, BCH, etc) you stand to make a pretty much guaranteed profit. This is the best time, (general, overreaching dip in overall market) to buy in with fiat. Any time is a "good time" to trade specific crypto for specific crypto -- but it's best to use dips like this to invest with real money as opposed to just trading BTC for something else.

If you have capital you can buy ethereum, bitcoin and doge buy la your best and sell later if the price of the 3 coin it exploded his price.

I think mobilego, LISK, BNB, and ETH, these are some good coins to hold for now as the dip is still on, as time goes on they will recover in their prices. Titanium is another good token too, which is among the new coins that their ICO has ended.

There so many coins that has a chance of profit but if I were to buy in this current situation I would probably go for the coin that is already known since they are the coins that will surely come back from the price before the dip happens.

Stratis has been a good coin for one to invest in during the  dip like  this. I bought stratis sometimes a go and it has done well for me and now provide another opportunity for one to buy and in future make good profit. I will also like to include lisk, litecoin and zcash to some of the coins you may like to invest and most of them are going to do very well from next month.

Either buy whatever you already have which adds to that position or buy something you have been eyeing for a while but you thought the price was too high originally. Dips are great opportunities to buy but they don't last long which means you gotta act fast.

I also think that now is a great time to buy coins. For a long time there were no such big discounts on crypto. Buy the most reliable coins: LTC, ETC, Monero, LISK and soon get a profit.

Altcoin movements tend to be much bigger than bitcoin moves - so a 20% dip is nothing, they can and do fall 50%, 80%.

Before you make any buys, look at the charts and look at previous lows and previous movements. Sometimes there is a support after it dips 50%, but rarely at 20%. If that is the case for the coin you are looking at, WAIT till it gets to your desired buy price.

No disagreeing there, fiat will get you the most bang for your buck either way you want to go with it, be it high market cap coins or lesser alts. 

Now DIMCOIN is in very dip so buy it for next 6 month period. Some of others are Datum, HVN, Ripple, Ethereum, NXT and many more available in the market. So, do your own research prior to invest.

If you want quick profits, then you should just look at the Top 20, I do not like Ripple (XRP) at all,,, but I bought some at $1,20,,, you should easily see it return to $1.50 and book 20% profits easy, or hold a few months for it to reach back to $2, and book >50% profits.

But for holding, I like these dips. Always add to my Waves, Stratis like you suggest is good, and I always do not mind Litecoin. Everything else is basically "Safe" if they already have a good reputation.

I bough more ethereum since this project is amazing and has a lot of potential to overcome bitcoin. In addition, I bough a lot of Ark during this dip because the developers of Ark are very active on the slack and they have a lot of news and updates. Ark is still very undervalued compared to what they can achieve. I also bought Request Network because they are Paypal's competitors, but they only have $ 300 million of valuation right now

I am not sure this is a very good idea. If you need your ETH in a week from now, first you won't get too much profit if you don't buy the riskier coins. Second, it is basically a smart thing to do to buy after a dip, but that is as long as you can wait for the price to increase again before you sell. If you have to sell it in 1 week from now you might hit another dipand lose money.

I want to buy tron and zrx but to me they are still high so I will wait for bitcoin to fall below $10k. Hope they will fall too  :)

There are many altcoins which will increase in marketcap, much more than the established coins like BTC and ETH. Neo, Deep Onion, etc... so many alt coins that will boom

During the dip you can buy bitcoin of course and also you can choose to invest on a good altcoins that you think can give you profit. Usually people will react negatively if the market dumps, but we must understand that this is normal so we cannot be tempted to sold everything even if at loss, just keep on accumulating good coins.

Not sure about stratis but normally i buy ada , xlm and xem during dips currently only xem is worth buying as xlm and ada already rose. If you don't wanna go with xem check omg or trx , i wouls suggest entering trx at $0.06 and if possible wait for omg to fall to $14 and exit at $22 or continue holding it.

For this dip I would buy VIB.. they just announced that they joined the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, likely to go 10X in 2018..

My suggestion is buy those coins that is on dip, low total supply, social medias active, amazing/unique feature of their project. My suggestion is CAPP, UTK also AION. Take a look for those coins, they are very active specially in their social medias/telegram channel.

Elix, the coin is so undervalued. It reached $2.50 right before the crash. It is now trading for around .70 cents. It's an absolute steal at that price!

Follow your own idea based on what you think will likely to happened.

I think that you should buy PKT. This is really a good coin which can help you earn much money. its price is so cheap now, just $2. In this year, I believe that it can reach to $5 at least.

I suggest you buy the coins that are listed in the top ten coins of the COINMARKETCAP, Since the red days affect all the coins as of now i'm sure when the whole market recover all of the alt coins will take it's flight gradually. First, I don't think that there is a dip going on presently, what you are seeing is just a little price instability which I think may change back soonest. Though, nevertheless it is always good to buy when it lows as that's the sercet if earning in trading or investment. Moreover, for now, you won't be seeing a coin that's stable and neither will you be earning so quickly soon.

I picked up some zcoin in these dips, i believe it should be stable at above $100

Buy crypterium if it touch $0.80 and probably will touch that price. They already announce coin in circullation it is arround 100 million. But my feeling telling me it coud get back to $1.6 or even higher. If it cross all time high. It probably could touch $5 or above that price. The features of what they will launch could make this coin arround 50 million in market cap. How ever invest at your own risk.

PKT reached $6 on CMC before the market collapse.. I think PKT will only rising again if BTC market stabilized already...
But yes, PKT is a solid project and I think will be huge in the future..

I don't think it matters what you buy this dip, as long as it's in the top 100 marketcaps.

Investing in ICOs is less safe than top marketcap coins. There are many ICOs that turn out to be scams, and those really big top marketcap coins have less chance to be scams.

With a week as hard deadline for cashing out for the ICO...I suggest holding on to your ETH.

XRB, now the price is very low and new events , wallets, exchange, brand, are comming , so now is the best time to invest on them. Dragon Chain also, it had a  dip but now is in resistance mode and soon it will go up again. Try to invest with the coins where you can see a long resistance level after a dip and the one which offers a good product , have a whitepaper and good discussion amount in the social networks.. Agree. Take advantage of raiblocks because it's going to be one of the coins that is very close having a mass adoption. People are smart so if we talk long term use, feeless and fast transaction is always required which XRB has.

And why is it a stratis, not a monero or ripple or waves or dash even. In general, you know so much now the option of further development, that the head is all around. So here you need to look closely at your investment.

I am wondering why you have not mentioned any of the top altcoins. I mean, this totally make sense that you are ditching bitcoin as it rarely happens in this section to come across a Bitcoiner. Don’t you think so that we have much better options than the one you listed? Ethereum really impressed me in last few months and honestly, it is better to stick with the old ones or at least add them into the list too.

I would also suggest reconsidering the decision. There are better options than stratis. Though I don’t understand why altcoins investment clouds the idea of investing in bitcoin, but still buying the top altcoins would bring good amount of profit sometime but honestly, bitcoin should be given a thought at least. After all it is the number one digital currency in terms of making profit. Also, it is facing a downfall at the present moment.

I think this is the best time to buy and really you can go in many different directions and be fine so pick 3 to 5 and enjoy the ride.

The fact is that to date I have not bought any coins for early storage. Of course this does not apply to the etherium. It is the etherium that is most trusted today. But nevertheless, if you trade, you need to monitor the market very carefully.

I'll take the chance to buy the legitimate ones that are on the top list mostly. They are heavily discounted right now. Such of those that I bought are VEN, QSP, and NEO that even there's a huge dip then I expect and trust them as a long term investment.

I think XVG is a good investment at the current price. I've been buying the dips down to this price for a few weeks now and have done pretty well off of it. It has a trend of jumping back up to 1,000+ satoshis within a week or 2 of me buying. So it's been going pretty well.
