Title: Re: Federal Reserve Has Secret Facility in Virginia Post by: BenRayfield on July 12, 2011, 05:59:55 AM If its true, then its good they started late enough that they can get at most 3/4 of all the future bitcoins (since its limited to 21 million) by mining, and after they spend it, theres no national debt system to unfairly move the bitcoins back to them, so its a free market.
I hope the Federal Reserve is mining huge amounts of bitcoins, because that would mean the central banks won't try to destroy cryptocurrency economies, and cryptocurrency economies will eventually obsolete central banks. This theory also makes sense because central banks (and I don't know which banks or people) are, beyond a reasonable doubt (as we say in USA courts), bribing politicians to make laws, and having lots of bitcoins would make that much easier.
