When I think of the Vega 56's that I bought in November, I think ... Why would anyone pay 1250-1500 for something that I paid 500 for. Same goes for prices of 1070ti's and 1080ti's ... I would never pay what the small time sellers are asking for them on Amazon and eBay at the moment. No fucking way. The fact is that supply is very short and you have these small time sellers with gpu's in hand trying to take advantage of it. I'm not denying that prices are up even with reputable dealers, but they aren't asking for double or triple. When they have them in stock, they usually go for a reasonable price. Higher than msrp, but still reasonable. You just have to get them fast, because when they have them .... They're gone in under an hour or less. Maybe that person doesn't know about the price of computer components and GPU.
