Nothing new in the cryptocurrency space. Just the good 'ol classic volatility. Comparing the current price from around last last month ago(November), we're still up by double. Still a huge increase in my opinion.

Yes it is alarming to buy more bitcoins when it is cheaper. The price of bitcoin is changing according to its demand and supply and the price dump and bump is normal thing in cryotocurrency. You just have to remember that bitcoin was bumped from $4500 to $19000 in two months of interval. So bitcoin have greater ability to recover so buy more bitcoins when it is available for cheaper price.

Yes,but the factors that pumped the bitcoin price from 4500 to 19000 USD are over and don`t have the same impact. This year, the factors that push the bitcoin price down are stronger and we will watch a slow decreasing of the bubble, not a huge burst.Buying bitcoins now might be a wrong move.We are a in a bearish market, just wait and btc will become  even cheaper.

If you think negative then you feel nervous and panic in price now but not good will happen in that because your like that and if you think positive like the possibility to earn big or the price go really high that's all person here experience in trading so for me think why the price go low or high like china leave bitcoin and in korea ban some exchanger or if i'm right i think all exchanger then in positive read some future plan here in crypto like xrb coins spread the knowledge of coins in different exchanger so the price go really high for me base your investing in news or some future plan of every coins or etc. to become the price go high.

There is good support near $10k so don't worry it will recover soon. And always remember you will only loss in crypto if you decide to sell your holding for loss because of fear like right now. If you have some Fiat than it's perfect time to buy.

yes it is alarming if you have invested more than you can afford to lose, which seems like you have. in which case my suggestion is that you start selling part of your investment until you reach a reasonable amount-invested that you are more comfortable with.

after that you will not be "alarmed" each time price drops.

It's alarming for those have who bought above that price especially if they're impatient. The only remedy is to stay calm, hold and wait patiently till the price skyrocket again.

No one is sure, what is going on! I do think the market will rise up in Feb end, till then don't panic and don't sell anything lower than what you bought.
There are more FUD stating, BTC will reach 1000$, don't believe all those.

It is indeed alarming if you bought at the recent highs. Given the trend there seems to be a lot of institutional investors now in the crypto space. It will really hurt really hurt us, the retail investors. monitor the price few times a day if possible and look for some signs that it may drop further.

Bitcoin falls around $10,300. Is it alarming?

Base from the chart I've seen, which is over the net right now, bitcoin's price always fall during this period.
If you bought your bitcoin in December, you might want to hold for a little bit longer. For sure, you bought your bitcoin to gain a profit thus panic selling won't do you any good.
You must put in mind that bitcoin's price is so volatile. Don't check the price every now and then. You will just get stressed. Checking it weekly is better.

Don’t worry about bitcoin price down to $10,300 per bitcoin, just keep hodl your bitcoin in your wallet then wait and see the bitcoin price will be up to $15,300 in just few month later, it usually happen in bitcoin where the bitcoin some time hight and some time down, never mind about that just hold and keep your bitcoin on your wallet for one or two month then you will see the bitcoin will hight.

It can takes some weeks until bitcoins pirce rises again, so just forget it and employ about other stuff in your life. You need to be patienc. Just hold it and in a month or two it will looks totally different.

yes, bitcoin prices are still unstable, so I think we should stick with bitcoins, and  if you have the capital, you'd better buy bitcoin soon. do not worry the bitcoin price will fall below $ 10000, because the bitcoin system is designed to keep going up. this is normal because the fluctuations in the crypto world are very high. so be patient with bitcoin to the end.

Everyone's aware of the fact that the Bitcoins are like that only, they go up and down at a very tremendous rate and that's just one phase that we are seeing here ... Their value is down momentarily but that doesn't mean that it won't get back up ... It's really important to be patient at time like this because the cryptocurrency market have seen worse instances and that's not at All alarming, you can bet that they will get back up since thats their nature only

So be patient and hold your Bitcoins

I think what you should do now is to start learning about the price movements of Bitcoin from its inception. You need to also learn the basics of fores markets, technical analysis, and fundamental analysis.

I'd have advised that you HODL but I won't. HODLing depends on your understanding of the market. You don't just HODL because you heard somewhere that you should hold. When you understand the workings of the market, these things will become cleared to you.

consider this. the tax situation in asia. specifically south korea. people with holdings are running NOW. getting out NOW. from what i can tell they are looking to tax dodge. once the rules are in place back in they go. the fundamental reason behind the selloff is excellent for the long term health. it legitimizes the industry

there may also be a lot of people who got in 2009-2016 who are just saying...okay, i can be a millionaire with my holdings maybe i should actually do that

when i look at the big picture here it seems like this is the end of phase 1 and the start of phase 2. next we legitimize blockchain and it moves mainstream. this absolutely MUST happen. the whole question is who will be left standing. which coin or blockchain will become the one you see at the ATM. which one will companies accept. bitcoin has the obvious lead but yahoo and aol led the internet early on only to fall on their face to google. the next few years as we move toward that 21 million coin cap will be telling.

This will only hold true if you have a considerable amount of bitcoin on you that you had bought before this price dip. But I believe this is just a correction from last year's considerable pumping. Bitcoin value right now has been stable at 10k-11k range. I think it won't be long for bitcoins value pump again.

It is a real fact that Bitcoin prices are still unstable. That's why we should not go away, but we should be with Bitcoin. If you have a capital then you can buy it. Because it is a digital coin that ever increases and sometimes decreases. However, it will increase its prices sooner. You have to be patient for a few days. You know, the fruits of patience are always sweet.

Of course it is the right time to buy as much as bitcoin you can buy with very affordable price because bitcoin is moving toward high price now and ti will recover very soon so it is good to buy bitcoin and hold your bitcoin in your bitcoin wallet, I have notice very prominent change in bitcoin graph it has started to move from bottom to the top and it will not take much time to touch the top price again, so you should have patience and hold all your bitcoin for long time and bad days will get vanish soon.

It's totally alarming specially when you have bought it when its price are in above @10,300. Not to mention how many people buy bitcoin at the time when bitcoin hits at ATH, and surely they are getting worried so much cause until now bitcoin price still half of it and signs of getting near with that price to recover even a little loss. 50% up and down is nothing. Check gainers/loosers on cmc. They does that daily.

Safest way around it is to buy a little every month instead of throwing all your savings in.

I know about bitcoin since long time ago, you should not look at bitcoin price trend in short timeframe, you should look at bitcoin price trend in long timeframe then you will reallize that the current bitcoin price fluctuations are normal. Bitcoin falls around $10,300. Is it alarming?

Bitcoin rates have fallen to the $ 8200, which is a good opportunity to invest in Bitcoin at such low prices. If you are holding Bitcoin, it is advisable to invest more in Ethereum because the Etherum rate is currently at the bottom in my view. So you should invest in Bitcoin and Ethereum at this time to make a profit at the end of the year - when the market recovers.

Yes, after every low fall, there is always a high growth and if it happens that the market gets to a huge demand zone, it would be a good time to buy rather than considering it a dead zone the way the OP is stating it. Every market have its ups and downs and we just have to admit and have it stuck in our skull without letting it affect our emotions and anyone who does not like it that way should either go learn how to trade, or possibly just stay out.

All we need to do in sake of bright future for bitcoins, we should keep our faith and must remain calm without listening to FUDs nor spreading FUDs. Things will change like trend of bitcoin prices will change and our worries will come to an end for sure.

Basically no need to worry too much about it, anyhow the long as it's still popular and still close to a lot of people on the various activities.. the price can still move up again. Staying restrained while looking for other opportunities in the face of all conditions, in the crypto world.. there is no chance we can take if we are not easy to give up. We can still gain profits from the various ways, especially in this forum.

All we need to do is to calm down and don't panic because this will lead to your loss. Bitcoin is still doing well if you study the historical data and relate the current price with were bitcoin is this time last year. The current bitcoin's price corrections is not something we should be panic of because bitcoin has the capacity and potential to be above  $100,000 in some years to come. We should not sell our coins out of fear as the current happening is the infect on what happens December last year.

All we need to do in sake of bright future for bitcoins, we should keep our faith and must remain calm without listening to FUDs nor spreading FUDs.

It doesn't really matter what you say, because people adjust their mood based on how the market performs. If you keep telling them nothing will happen, the price will go up, while the price has been going down for a longer while, they lose confidence because you are wrong, and the short term market proves you wrong as well. As soon as the market keeps going up for a good while, people will then break out of their shell and start gaining confidence automatically. It has been like that years ago as well, and nothing has even slightly changed in that regard. Reality is that we went up far too much, and now we're slowly but surely falling back to a point the market is actually willing to support the price again, which has been lacking for months. Ranges become only lower and lower, and that perfectly highlights the lower demand. Without a bullish trigger, we may dip below the $7000 level, to potentially test the main bottom.

There is no better option for us right now but to hodl on our dear bitcoin because if we just sell when the price is dipping, then you are not helping the ecosystem but instead just added more panic to the already fragile ecosystem.

Bitcoin falls around $10,300. Is it alarming?

bitcoin is currently falling below $10k and this seems to be a sign to buy bitcoin because the price is currently very cheap and very stable, so do not miss this golden opportunity to buy as much bitcoin as you can.

On the other hand, the price is just $8K, which is very cheap. So if you are in for the long haul, then this is a golden opportunity to purchase today because its really at a discount and just hodl for the next couple of months.
