What is the best Altcoin for holding now ? Please list as your opinion. Thank you

The Pillar symbol is PLR is the best now for holding. This crypto, however, is a very steady increase in value but it's devaluation almost none. Since a year it has grown form a mere 0.04 cent to above $1.

At the moment every coin is good for holding. So acttually every coin is on a dump and you have to hold them, or you just sell them with loss. So my big hope for this year is Onion, XSPEC and MODUM. But every other coin who is on dump right now, will rise againt when the dump is over.

Best altcoins? I think it's Neo or Etherum. That's the 2 altcoins I feel most potent. I spent a lot of time to learn about these 2 altcoins.
You can see that Neo is a well known currency and only behind Etherum and Bitcoin.
It is known that there will be many supply and demand. So we can conclude that these two altcoins will increase in price in the future. If you do not have much money then I think you should buy Neo, it is a good altcoin and have cheap imitation.

No one knows the best altcoin until one of them begin to boom just like the ethereum at the middle of 2017.

It is your money. Do your homework and invest where you feel you should. Asking strangers for advice on where to spend your money is crazy don't you think?

Also, You can find a ton of good information with backing and a ton of bad information that seems good with no backing. It's very important for you to invest where your goals are.. be it short or long term.

Ethereum has always been on bullish trend only since the beggining of 2017, there is nothing new with this.
But yes, there are some coins right now who are worth to hold them for a while, just like Elixir.
The price is under $1, and it can easily touch $3 soon.

Most of the casinos will eventually get pumped. Gulden I am investing in because they are doing real blockchain innovation with PoW2 and SegSig but it doesn't make it the best investment. The best investment is coins that are backed by money launderers. Find out which coins are being used to facilitate this and that will make the most profits short term.

I think coin which will give you passive income while holding it. Coin such as XCPO, TRX and DP is good for long term holding. Especially XCPO ypu can staking or run masternode of XCPO then you can get extra Coin everyday. Masternode reward of XCPO is about 28$ everyday. How do you think? a few days ago im always seeing charts altoins. and i think best altcoins now is ethereum, NXT, bitcoincash, Waves. thats altcoins have potential and very popular, and in a few days thats altcoins have good growing. thats my suggestion.

I think privacy coins are more important in these days. Because all governments are planning to regulate or ban cryptocurrency.

There are many huge potential coins in the market but the thing is you need to control your feeling before buying those coin because sometime the crypto market will be in huge dumps and you need to face those challenges, I will suggest some INS, BNB, CND, Etc.

This time most of altcoins was in low their prices in the market probably is your chance to get your favorite altcoins, but for me i rather to choose litecoin,monero and dash for holding for a long time.

Waves is very lucrative altcoins to invest in. Another coins that is profitable is ether. These two coins are the most profitable I will tip to lead coinmarket cap by end of the year.

Honestly, i can't suggest you with exact information.
Many altcoins are bleeding right now.
But i can share my basic principle to choosing altcoins. Firts of all, try to look their percentage of recovery rate. If their percentage surpass around 15-20% on this bleeding market today, then you can choose and holding it. It's mean, that coin have strong values.

This is one the common question that people keep asking. To be honest no one know what is the best coin to HODL because what works for me might not work for you. On the other hand, this is your money hence before investing you should do your homework, study the market, people behind the project, future growth prospects and things of that nature. Always remember "Invest what you can afford to lose".

Here are a few projects that still have a low capitalization, but a huge perspective and potential. INT, ICX, NEBL This year will definitely give a furious increase in the value of these coins due to a good roadmap, community support, and a massive influx of money into cryptornics

When you hear the word criptocurrency, your mind will definitely go straight to Bitcoin. I think people are attracted to Dash because of the instant and quick nature of the delivery. Probably faster than Litecoin. By branding, Dash has a unique selling that is: Instant, Private, and Secure.

Please do research then know were to invest and in the other hand you can go for etherum.

Ethereum and Neo will fly to the moon in 2018.

I believe in WAVES, their decentralized trading platform is really good, only trading volume is still low.

BTG (Bitcoin Gold), Stellar and Ripple I think this coin will be in Pump,
especially BTG I think this coin will be in Pump just like BCH ago.

I think now it really hard to say wich coins will be profitable. My opinion you should look closer to Tether and PIVX.

All altcoin now in the market is drop , i think ethereum is still good now to buy and hold . And i believe the growth rate will increase gradually on this year maybe first week of feb as i see the green tagged in the market , and for sure this is good to hold in long term

Top 50 coins in coinmarketcap for me is a good for holding. :) My number 1 is ethereum. Also try to research about No Limit Coin 2 for me this coin is a sleeping giant with a working platform.  No Limit Coin 2 or NLC2 is a coin used in cryptofantasysports. The team is really working great for the platform. For now this token is undervalued but I really believe this will make a big pump when all the sports will be release. The have Joe Theismann and Johnny Chan as their ambassador.

Both are still at high prices. Eth can give one up to 30% profit, while neo - up to 50%. I would say that the safest coin and the one that will definitely give one 2x profit long-term (a few months) is bitcoin. However, is one is ready for some risks, it would be better to invest in ripple. I believe it can easily provide 2x-3x profit within a month, since ripple already was worth those prices. It is not a really risky investment like ico or shitty coin. Ripple is a strong project that is likely to become even more influential, whereas the price is still incredibly low.

Currently, all subcoins are in bad condition and are constantly depreciating. The best of them are mono, dovu. I am in great anticipation in the coming years. as well as trig and tnb subcoins. If it shows some time, it will rise in subcoilers.

In terms of long term potential, I think it would have to be Vezt. But they only had their ICO a few weeks ago and they still have a lot to prove.

I think in Btc movement Xlm and Waves stayed strong in their place I think this two altcoins will have good increasing in few days.

in my opinion the best two altcoins to hodl are Hive token ticker HVN , and Hedge token ticker HDG. They are both small marketcap coins, with great future. Fair supply ( HDG has a small supply ), great dev team, working MVP, good advisors and vibrant community and telegram channels. Also been listed on low quality exchanges waiting for bigger exchanges to list them.

For now I like to hold altcoins whose projects are in the online payment industry and decentralized exchanges. I believe both fields are needed and used by many people, very potential in the future.

Yes, impossible to know which one will be really growing.
We just need to do a speculatiin of the altcoin but the result will be at the end.
I think etherium is always good altcoin to hold now because its strong enough to give the holder benefit.

based on what I hold and which I believe. I hold some alt for one year ahead.
I hold the ETH as a control of course. Cardano is still under $ 1. then XRP which had slipped down.
i just see them is altcoin that can give me the advantage ..
I tried to do some research, starting with their whitepaper.

My opinion the best altcoin for hold long term is ethereum, NXT, XLM, and BTG because now the price is low and we can see in the middle of this year the price will up. They are good coin and they have a strong team and system. So they will always increase.

I think VEN is guaranteed to become a top 10, probably top 5 coin in the next 6-10 months. I can easily see it going 30x over the next year, and wouldn't be surprised if it eventually became a top 2 or 3 coin. It's not the only coin im invested in, but the more I've read about it and researched the crypto space, the more I think of how obvious it is that it's gonna skyrocket. Like goddamn it surged through a giant dip and even when it dropped back down it was barely anything and has basically recovered. It seems like the coin with the biggest real life use case and there's so much more to come with the rebranding and thor being released. I'm not someone who is sold on coins easily and I know there is alot of vechain shilling on reddit but even if vechain goes to zero i would never regret buying it as every single thing is pointing to it booming.

My two other picks are Luxcoin and Minexcoin. LUX is a 500 million market cap coin disguised as a 30 million market cap coin. I really don't get how it's so low at this point, just look at the website and all the features being implemented. They even address when they were late to implement a feature and leave it on the site for accountability. I think LUX is the only coin with higher growth potential than Vechain over the next 2 years.

Minexcoin was dropped in november and after a pump and dump has stabilized around the 25$ range. It is a coin aimed at low volatility, with a bank feature that rewards you interest for parking coins in order to keep the ecosystem stable. I predict MNX will have a steady surge over the next few years and along with interest can net investors much profit. Long term hold IMO

I do not know because the amount of altcoin is so much and it will take a long time to doing research to compare altcoin one with another altcoin. But for me, certainly convinced altcoin at the top is highly potential for an investment. Well, this is just my suggestion because I have invested in this altcoin which I think is very potential, that's ethereum and NEO. I Just suggestion, if you have more time to doing research on altcoin, Ethereum and NEO you should be consider.

I recommend to hold XRP, TRX, IOTA, ETC and ETH, those coin has a big possibility to increase its value and we need to hold that for long time for huge income. But if you have more capital just add some coin like WAVES, PIVX and etc. and i also suggest that you need to have bitcoin balance in your wallet for instances of increasing its value you have fund for trading btc to fiat,

I think it's good for holding altcoins in a long term and has a potential in the future is XVG, ADA, TRX, and XRP. Those coins are good and very popular. I think it will be the next ethereum in the future. I'll be holding this until the next 3 years.

My portfolio is quite big right now, but the best altcoin among them for me for 2018 has to be Electroneum. I am currently HODLING several thousands of ETN and I feel that this coin could potentially return x50 profits in the short term due to a multitude reasons like excellent developer team(Great at marketing), huge community support, mobile mining aspect etc which is why I have a lot of faith in this coin. Apart from this coin, I think that XRP, XLM and DENT could also rise drastically in value later this year. Am expecting a big rally in the upcoming months by bitcoin which will help drive the value of my coins up towards the moon.

New promising project is Internet of Services Token (IOST), just now is listing on Binance. Maybe new IOTA. Price is still cheap.

Current projects that I mentioned earlier have increased significantly. Some projects that I appreciate for long term investment: Nimfa, UTK, Forty Seven Bank, Socifi, etc ..

I'm holding Oyster Pearl PRL now, I bought it when it was very cheap and now although it is dumping but I have faith that this coins will soon rise to the moon because their project is very amazing and soon will be used by websites to cover their storage expenses.

For only me you can try ethereum becuase this january ethereum is not stop rising up.

I think ripple is a great long term hold, across border transactions in 4 seconds, 1000 transactions per second, saves banks up to 75% on processing fees(usually 60% but in japan its 75%). They are working with some of the largest financial institutions in the world.

I would go for Stellar Lumen ( XLM), This is the current coin you should hold. Lots of stuff coming in next few months, the biggest if FairX will use Stellar platform, which will be huge in terms of coin value. Some people mention FairX will be bigger than Coinbase. So you can imagine the volume will be. Good time to get in.

There are some coins to invest for long term investment like Ethereum and ripple. They are really of good potential and if you will hold them for long term then you will definitely gonna have good profit.

for me the best altcoin for holding is ethereum, ethereum is a 2nd popular of cryptocurrencies so it has potential to increase just hold it for long term and another new altcoin that I suggest is STK they are now listed in 3 exchanges huobi, idex and cobinhood the price is very cheap for now I'm sure it will increase soon.

Ethereum is the best cryptocurrency to invest. The demand is high and you can profit good. The value of Ethereum is increasing steadily. Meaning profits in the future are assured.

eth is still a favorite coin for investment in altcoin. but whether you are not trying new coins like fdx or bkx to serve as investment coins. because as far as I know fdx and bkx coins have good future potential.

Even tether is not safe to hold at this point, everythings just spilling over.

i will go with the others in here which is for me also, the best altcoin so far up to now is the ethereum, not because its price is still increasing but because of its stability in the crypto currency world. So if you are to look at it, long term investment would be the great option for this altcoin. And for the others, you can ripples or litecoin or the top altcoins so far.

For me ETH is the best but since it is high price nowadays, I will choose to hold Bitcoin White. I believe of this coin to be bullish this year. This coin has the potential to grow in price just like ETH because it has low supply and has active developer. I am hoping for this coin to be on top soon.

Its the safest of course. If it weren't for the fud about tether being scam or to be regulated it should have been the safest. Tether had been existing for years and years, if they were scam the team behind it must have been gone by now just as how bitconnect were. But I don't consider it an altcoin to hold. I guess STK is a good option for now as said above.

How can you secure those altcoins that are going rapidly? You can't invest to those altcoins anymore if they are already on a rapid increase because it will be followed by a massive dump. Most of the altcoins aren't stable and the only coins that  I know that are stable enough are those who are on the top 20 of CMC. But still there are other coins that are not listed there but its making its own noise. My advice is just buy those coins that has a good trading volume.
