Title: [2018-1-23] South Korea to forbid anonymous cryptocurrency trading
Post by: mlawson71 on January 23, 2018, 03:38:58 PM
It looks like the South Korean government has abandoned its plans to impose a blanket ban on cryptocurrency trading in the country, but will nevertheless impose certain restrictions.

According to reports the authorities will enforce a ban on anonymous transactions and trading through virtual anonymous bank accounts, starting from January 30. Instead, six South Korean banks will be issuing new trading accounts, in compliance with KYC requirements. This means that the name on the traders’ account at the exchange and in the bank must match.

According to Financial Services Commission (FSC) vice-chairman Kim Yong-beom, on the day the banks roll out those new accounts, anonymous trading will be banned.

I have read so much about satire news, and I am not here to be easily swayed by it. You should know that fake news are rampant nowadays because the mainstream want to get rid of what the society at present conveniently need. They are here to shake the market of cryptocurrencies because they were so jealous of what it caused to the lives of many others who luckily joined the success of Bitcoin last year. Now tell me, what makes this write up any different from what was published weeks ago?

Propaganda  :P
Well, news especially about South Korea are trending these days. It may be exaggerated but I remember the same things happened with China last months.
Anyway, I personally prefer to see lawsuit against scammy ICO/projects which isn't possible with anonymous people.

I think this is going to be done for the case of taxation of all users and their crypto profit. The Olympic games costs a lot and the government need to take money for all of that, where they will take money? From ordinary citizens, of course, so they want to put tax on crypto currencies to take some extra money simply.
