what are your predictions in the future for the ripple?
I wonder what level can ride the ripple in the coming years

Apparently, Ripple firmly established itself in the top and will remain there until the end of the year. It's difficult to make any price predictions, but I think it will goes along with market without any abrupt deviations.

Ripple will always at the top 3 coinmarketcap. But i'm not sure about if there will be a competitor to the ripple. Even DAG project hasn't proven good traction to compete with ripple.

Ripple as favourite currency in the korea. All of the things will be following the fundamental of the market.
This is not so strong right now.

Ripple has made some interesting deals for their technology to be used by businesses such as Moneygram.

What happens next depends of whether those deals are successful and they can expand them and get other financial businesses on board.

I don't buy Ripple anyway ever since before, though I saw many times how ripple got pumped and dumped, and I also knew that many of the traders got profit in this things too. Maybe if Riplle down again below 4k sats I will buy em then hold.

I believe in this coin. It seems to me that soon the ripple can reach 2-4 dollars per coin. And it seems to me that this will happen very soon. Now I'm waiting for a drawdown in order to buy a ripple.

There is a lot of pump and dump in this coin but the fundamentals do not add up.

The R3 association for ripple which is formed by a large number of banks has a caveat that they do not need

to use XRP as the currency for transaction but they will use the technology.

This is the key concern as Banks are likely to create private blockchains for their own usage and may not use XRP at all.

Ripple is dependent only on a single usage and that is interbank transfer.. if that fails, XRP will be worthless.

I see too many competitors with XRP. Other blockchains such as Stellar (which is already in used by IBM in the Pacific) as well as banks who are

likely to use private blockchains.

Hence I do see many other blockchains moving up in value in the top 10 in market cap and squeezing out XRP in the long term.

As Ripple been support by banker, it was centralization. That coins could be has good future, but on some articles i read about comparing Ripple with Stellar. I think these both coins has related progress and will attract the market. But i can say buying Xrp are good for now.

Ripple is coming into popluar altcoin recently. With its runs so many speculation raise about tjis altcoin.
In my opinion, i think it will not survive till long time start now because ripple is centralized altcoin.

I'm investing in a ripper, I think it has a very good future. If it's on the Coinbase, its price will increase by $ 10

I think Ripple will become more popular, but will stay on third place in market cap, mostly because it’s huge supply. They have announced a deal with MoneyGram and that will make a difference. I think we can make money with Ripple, but will never be number one or most important coin or so on.

Until I see strong competitors, I don't ripple go down anytime soon. It will be good for long time investment.

No one knows for sure about the future of the ripple because every move is too long, and many big players hold this coin so that the price is too easy to be "played around"

My prediction is 10 dollars by 2020

XRP was founded in 2012 ago with the initial name Ripple Labs. XRP has a focus on using blockchain technology to speed up cross-border fund transfers and bank settlements.

XRP will be potentially good in this year and the future, as Ripple connects banks, payment providers and digital asset exchange through RippleNet to provide a soundless experience to send money globally.

I think we are going to see an even greater battle between ETH and Ripple to see which coin keeps the second spot behind bitcoin, ETH may have its flaws but in my opinion it is better than ripple that is nothing but a project of the banks, however with a greater interest of financial institutions it is possible that ripple could surpass ETH as the number 2 coin in the next years.

Ripple is currently in a pretty good position, they are now gaining the trust of several government financial institutions in several countries. Their rival is certainly Etherum, Etherum has a very wide market share so that now Etherum already has many users in the World. While Ripple in my opinion is still limited and more widely used by investors, this means that the use of Ripple in conducting financial transactions is still fairly limited. But back again that at this time Ripple is doing a lot of agreement and cooperation with various official institutions, this is a clear proof that Ripple's development team is very good and professional. If they (Ripple) can defend it then it is not impossible that Ripple could become the power of crypto in the world by defeating Bitcoin and Etherum, It is not impossible and could happen as time passes.

Maximum 3 dollar, very few companies are using XRP and Ripple is not same as XRP.

Ripple has made its name to the top coins, and I doubt it will go down soon, I believe it will continue being one of the most used coin in the crypto world. I think even if I dislike it with my full heart, it is going to be used in many establishments.. Banks are probably most important aspects in finance capital world and bitcoin will not replace it, at all..

Their biggest flaws to me are that they are centralized with developers having a huge conflict of interest in maintaining artificial price while forcing developments that may not be needed as opposed to keeping a clear head on objectives unrelated to price. And don't forget they also have another alt to contend with (Bitcoin Cash) that equally wants to be number 2 (or number 1 as they say) and have a lot of willingness and resources to attempt this.

However, Eth has a great head start and reputation (minus DAO).

Ripple will touch $5 by the mid of 2018 but will not outrun Ethereum, which will in accordance rise and keep the number 2 slot. As an investment both are good but in the short term the profits of Ripple will be comparatively higher.

Ripple could be a project that always will be in the top 10 of coinmarketcap.. The only problem for the price climbing is, that they have a high total supply and this could drive to some problems. Also the team has a lot of coins from the total supply and this worries me a little bit.

As of now, Ripple is one of the best coins right now and it has a consistent performance in the past months up until now. It is still worth investing and we all hope that it will become profitable in the future. Ripple is not same as XRP. There is hardly any company which is using XRP, they use Ripple's other product not XRP.

Though its centralized coins I can say that this is one of the great cryptocurrency right now, so we should be take this into our list. Right now XRP is in the right position, and I see this at a higher level in the future. Some people doubt on this one because of its function but still investors believe that xrp is good alternative for bitcoin.

The greatest advantage of ETH over Ripple and any other coin is that there are hundreds of projects which depend on Ethereum and many icos come weekly that run over that platform, no other coin has that advantage, while there are other projects that want to be the new Ethereum they still lack the traction that ETH has, and also bitcoin cash is a very strong competitor for the number two place but lets see if it can maintain that market cap once bitcoin finally activates the lightning network.

In current situation ripple is best platform because one bank also invested in ripple coin so this coin will be surely raise in future and this coin is survey in long years.

Agree, The only reason why Ripple is still sustainable until now is that Ripple backed by bankers. Even though Ripple is known to be centralized bankers coins which all the cryptocurrencies community hated. Ripple will always have a place in the market because we can't count how many bankers support Ripple.

I believe it can be between 1 and 3 USD, I saw two pumps but I do not expect anything special

i think some trader bitcoin not like with centralizing banker on ripple.. may be just 2 $ in the end year, pump and dump with so many news may be fake news on ripple

Ripple is a rising currency and in the last period and it is now the third best currency in the market . As well, their progress was sudden especially the development of market cap, which became 28 Billion dollars and  this value is huge, despite that the price of this currency is low ( $1.34) .
In addition to that,  it is very hard  to give expectations for Ripple (XRP) but  I guess that this currency will have a good future and may the price evolve x100 .Otherwise, many capitalist invested in this currency.

I think within six months a new ripple will start entering into the Prime again. but we just wait in the future like what.

In 2018, according to my predictions the world will change. Bitcoin is also popular and more participant. So making money from bitcoin will be very difficult. I hope I will succeed and stick with bitcoin for a long time. I will overcome any waves.

I've been following Ripple for a long time and I never bought it. A very unpredictable coin. I made predictions where the course would go and never guessed. So I do not regret that it is not in my portfolio.

When I first heard about ripple and the fact that banking system support this coin, one thing became very clear to me at that moment and it was, ripple would be surviving longer than anyone could predict and it would soar according to its own freewill. Indeed, I was correct about the potential of this currency. I consider it as one of the best available options for investing money into.

As it is run by a good team, so I think it'll increase in price in future. However XRP is not fully decentralized so it can't be drop in full in value.

No need to write in caps or bigger letters: I dislike ripple. It is completely agains nature of cryptocurrencies in my opinion. But I don't think they will fail to launch good platform to be used ny finance industry. Banks may quickly embrace it.

I do not think ripple's going back to its old days because ripple has experienced a very sharp decline.

Ripple got some ''pump'' value. He got the attention because it is backed by the banks even nobody knows in how strong that is.
Price will recover and maintain the value for a longer period with slowly increase.

Advantages:
It is afordable and stable coin with huge availability of coins and the owners have banked a way more than 50% of the total amount of coins.Due to the projected stability XRP may end up being used more as a means of making transactions, Big companies like Amazon are considering using XRP as a means of purchase and has a good support.transactions are fast compared other coins, then again Bitcoin had fast transactions when it started out as well. So time will tell if this remains true.
And now coming to disadvantages:
XRP is heavily supported by big business and the banks. So the price will be low enough to afford but not high enough to make a ton of money on unless you invest big.they may control the price by adding more coins to the system in the future.so now it's up to you wether to invest or not....

I do not know about that, there are people that oppose ripple due to its nature and its relationship to banks and other similar entities, but BitConnect was clearly a scam and many established members in the forum warned people to not invest on the project and yet many people did and now they are paying the consequences, so I doubt the same is going to happen to Ripple.

Not a fan of ripple at all, doesn't have a lot of room for growth, centralised garbage, too many non circulating coins.

Focus on the market cap rather than price per coin, you'll see Ripple is not cheap at all.

To be honest ripple has a really bright futures because this coin colaborate with bankers and many bank will adopt it. But the coin in curcullations is too big for yesterday price which reach $3. The coin it self i value it it is only worth arround $1 or under it. And one more thing this coin has a centralised scheme which i dont like it and i think many people from this community does not like centralised coin too. In my opinion if it is under $1 you can buy it but if the price above $1 dont..

Lets just say, if Bitcoin ends up under capital gains tax or something similar, the likes of a bank will have to pay 28% tax on their holdings, imagine that on billions worth of Ripple.. a cool test now becomes a huge expense.

In saying that, the banks work on a private supply rather than the circulating supply we buy in to, will their supply be seen as value? it should do in my eyes, XRP is XRP regardless of where it's held.

Don't stress though, sole traders will only pay income tax under capital gains.. you would have to do this now any way if you cashed out more than $10k-20k (depending on country)

If you are going to make such predictions at least make the math before, so you can see how high it is with ripple at 20 dollars the market cap of ripple will be close to 760 billion dollars, the current cap of all the market is 403 billion dollars that is more than 5 times the current cap of bitcoin and you think all of that is going to happen in just 11 months?

Yes, in ripples invested a lot of money, behind this coin are bankers,it has a high transfer rate, I think the price will be$2-3.
