To the mods, I believe we need some sticky threads in the main sections of the forum, containing all information about Segwit, and which wallets they should use, etc.

I cannot believe how misinformed the people are here. Many of them think that in order to send Segwit transactions, "the sender and the receiver should have a Segwit wallet". This has to change.

Well I am happy one mod agrees. But where are the rest?


We were all newbies once when we started entering this "world". We cannot really expect too much, especially if those people are from countries where English is not taught well. Some of them lack the English reading and comprehension skills needed to make them understand. But I have seen that some of them are really smart people.

Where is the thread? Cant sticky something that doesnt exist.
Write one or suggest one, and I bet you will have it stickied in no time (assuming the thread is good/well written).

I am no one in the forum. But ok, I will try to make a good Segwit usage guide, as best as I can. I do not expect it to be stickied though. Hahaha.

I hope someone like achow or CarltonBanks would also write one as they are more technically proficient in all stuff Bitcoin, and with more followers in the forum.
