How did your gambling go in 2017? Did you have a good year?

My gambling was OK. I had some small regular profits from playing poker, as usual. I think the total profit of the year was about 1.500-1.800 Euros but I haven’t counted it yet. I will do when I will have to fill in my tax declaration later on in the year.

Apart from that, I tried some casino games on a couple of crypto sites but with giveaways, just few times, as I don’t like playing those EV- games.

I mostly play dice game online otherwise sports betting particularly cricket betting. I made a good profit from my cricket betting but lost some money in dice game because these results I can't control and depends totally on luck. Since I know well most of the world cricket teams so I can guess some of the cricket matches quite accurately so my cricket betting was profitable in 2017 and ended in profit overall.

My life in gambling in 2017 is good, i think i do not lose money in last year instead i earn great amount of money by playing dice game and minimal betting to my favorite teams in basketball. This year my start is bad because my small capital was already lose and planning to put good amount to recover my losses.

My grandmother gambled last years was so good rather than present year becahse she can gain more profit so that it can also help me. But this year come she will never had a more profit . Yes sometimes she wins but the other times she lose. The biggest portion now is she losses more than winning at all. So that i preffer that past years is netter and good than nowadays. Although it was normal to win or lose in a game but past year is better than now. Thats what i think so.

I was did the same as you back in 2015/2016 where bitcoin dice sites popping up a lot and so popular , get the profit from the casino and some sports betting but then throw it easily in a dice sites. That game are so addictive, it's almost make you can't stop to play. As time goes by I think sports betting and occasionally play some games in the casino are the only that gives you profit and fun , other than that are dangerous and difficult place to make profit.

I've had a pretty bad year to be honest, an overall loss of little under 1 BTC. I'm not too bothered about that and I'll probably gamble a bit less this year.
It's pretty cool that I can actually see those stats on the website I play on (Crypto-Games).

I also reckon that there's a fair bit of faucet losses in between those stats.

Have chosen on the break-even option which i do believe basing on the results on last years's gambling. Winning is there for some amounts but loss will really make those winnings to be negative again. I do play dice and poker games but i dont really care at all since im not really targeting too much on making money out of gambling.This year i would still play for sole entertainment but have always the limitations when it comes to funds.

I choose profit, because I have earned a little amount last year but for me that's a big achievements in gambling and that my first won in gambling then i talk my self and say "ohh look it is my lucky day". Last year i played and gambled in bustadice gambling site i gambled my 40% salary in my signature campaign, as what i have said luckily in every bet i won a bits. In every betting i won 200 bits in successive play and i amazed on that.

I think we all do not need to be proud when we benefit from playing gambling. I will not say how much money I get, because I think that gambling is an entertainment only. Never say that gambling can make a lot of money, gambling will only ruin life and we will lose a lot of happiness. Believe that gambling is not the right choice in our lives, there are still much better ways to do it and it certainly has to be a useful thing.

Yes I have limited my gambling habit, haven't lost any huge amount of bitcoin in last year and also made some good wins starting with very small amount on mid of the year.

Won't gamble much this year, atleast with real coins.

I lost around 0.15 BTC, so it wasn't that bad year(compared to other years). i don't gamble as much as i used to.. i have put limits on my gambling.

I believe it was one of the best years for me ,having won the top prize in one of 4th competitions that Sportsbet.io did realize during January of last year. I remember they divided it into four different ideas and I won the one which was (who wins more bets out of 50 bets, I did 37 and shared same prize with another tipster, Betadviser, he also did 37 wins out of 50 bets). After that the year was normal with up and downs but in the end I ended it with little profit as always. I hope to repeat the same during 2018.

I was just about to write the same thing. Well, almost the same, if my calculations are correct I've lost somewhere around 1.5-2BTC. I have new goals for this year and I can't really afford to lose to much money so I will also blow away less money gamble less.

Honestly i did not gamble for profit  and i am not a regular gambler , just do it sometimes when i have spare time to play and use small amount only.
So not sure if i am in profit or not , one thing that i know is i have not get a huge winning or a jackpot .
Maybe if i do bankroll management i must lost more than 50% from what i get as profit.

2017 was an awesome year specially for cryptocurrency basically I don’t gamble with it. I gamble through regular casinos with a fiat money but its just a small amount of money and I didn’t expext any big profit from there since my purpose is quiet different, I think its just breakeven I lost some and also win some.

Not really, But i made sure that i didn't lose a lot of money though, I won some bets but at the end of it all, i managed to lose all the money that i have lost in the process. I didn't get into any serious debts though so in all, its all good thing if i might add.

Gambling history for last year is awesome, i do not looking for profit in gambling but the result was its give me income even small amount but the important is gambling gives me more happiness every time i play dice game and sports betting. My problem was set a side when i do gambling most of the time i forgot them and my mood change to be positive that is why i can say that is great year for gambling to me and hoping that this year will be much better.

I learned to gamble last year in BitVest and currently I have a profit and stopped gambling lately because I have not prioritized it lately to gamble. As long as I have no debts to pay and losses to chase, I'm fine with that already. It's like a milestone achieved.

If crypto is considered gambling, which I think it should, then I didn't do so bad.

I think my gambling in 2017 was good and although I cannot make a big winning or win the big money, I still enjoy the game and I can spend my time to play with my friends too in one table. besides that, I think in 2017, I play gambling in every week but gladly, I don't have to spend a big money to play because I depend on the faucet that existing from the gambling site.

I lost most of my bets at 2017, but as I bet for fun I would answer this question a little bit differently.
I had a lot of fun gambling at 2017, all of the major gambling sites(nitrogensports and such) remained working and we none of them did an exit scam or something like that.

I think that 2018 is going to be a bettrr year for gambling as FIFA world cup is going to take place at 2018 and it's usually mean new promotions and campaigns for people who likes to gamble.

I'm not a good gambler, but in gambling I set the budget for play to prevent lose much. But I can control my emotional also if I lose.
In 2017 I lose much more than I win, so after I lost with my budget, I'm not continue to play. In 2018 I hope fortune will came to me again.

I didn't actually keep a record of my gambling activity. I think a broke even overall, but I'm not sure. I usually gamble just for fun, and I go from casinos to sports betting or poker. I think there is not point in keeping a record on casino gambling, because it will show to you that your are losing. Since I just play for fun, I think this would ruin it for me, because I would see that maybe I was having a useless and very expensive hobby.

I should probably keep tracking about my poker and sports betting profit/loss, since it's possible to actually make real money with it. I will probably start doing it. I think this thread will be very painful for a lot of gamblers because BTC is still very high, compared to the start of 2017, so for all those that gambled with BTC and lost, that loss might prove to be very costly by now.

Though I am not actively playing in a Casino way back 2017, I can say during my gambling session, I am able to book some profit while sometimes my bankroll got depleted.  And as I think the amount I lost and win, I can say that the winning amount is way more than the losing amount.  But it is too little to consider it even a proft.  With regards to time spend, and other expenses, I think I just have a break even in my gambling career in 2017.

It was a break even for me too, i don't play a lot last year, whenever I won on poker or dice, i somehow have guts to try to bet or try other games which results mostly on losing, anyway even such happen It was still a good gambling year for I have tried most of fj games minus those new ones.

Went fine and normal, gained some good profit but also it was recovered by the house for being greedy. Overall, I had a great year not only with gambling but with all happenings in my life. A lot of things learned and experienced and basically I'll apply that every time I gamble, just don't be too greedy and we'll be fine.

Basically, it was fine. I mean, i did not win anything grand or big or hit a jackpot or anything but i also did not lose kuch and have still gained some more than what I have lost in it. So overall it was a good gaming year for me in gambling and I have also learned a lot both as a person and as someone who plays some tricks and tips to better my chances and that is more valuable to me.

That's what matters right? That you know how to control and be the one who you want to be with. If you have managed to get green then it's great  if you haven't, you can try to get it next time but not just in one go because you are going to lose again, you have to rest then play some other day. I agree that you need to learn some strategies in order to improve your chances of winning.

I seldom to gamble last year since I had my second child but if ever i had a chance or time, i play or gamble with my neighbors and it was a good game because i always win but i see to it that i can control myself for i know gambling is not good since i want to save money and it can't help me with my goals in life.

Breakeven so far but no so sad but that wasn't so bad either. I just dont want to get to the point where I've spent most of my bitcoin in gambling because you wil become really become addicted where you get to the temptation that you can't stop gambling and spend entirely all your bitcoin in there.

Me too. I learned a lot of things this past 2017 when first I experience gamble in site and with crypto. And that is one of the most especial thing that I experienced last year.

I am not a person who likes gambling games so I never include gambling in my life. I know that gambling games have a lot of risk, this is the main reason and I think gambling will only worsen the life I have.

Didn't gamble much but i would say it was a breakeven experience and with a few strategy adjustments am counting on 2018 to be a good year for me just hope i do not get selfish and lose all my money.

Gambling in 2017 was good, but the greed or due to the lack of money management lost what I got through series wins. In specific lost more than two bitcoin in less than two weeks time, hope this year to be good to gamble and good amount can be won, and alas more gambling websites with bitcoin acceptance have been getting into existence.

Overall Loss I would say, but at 3rd Quarter I kind of managed to reduce my loss gap. I would say it was mixed, as the year was for learning rules and experiencing, loss had to have generally. Since, Q42017 I left to play very frequently and played only Poker as it goes good with me, so till the end loss came to nearly negligible. 

I have a terrible run last year as I loses some of my earnings, I played only two types of gambling sports and dice which both hurt my butt, I'm not
sure why last year I've been engaged to much and didn't control myself, but now I realize everything needs to be stop and change of mindset should
be taking place, better to focus myself into trading and practice to be more patient and not being to aggressive.

Im doing good in the start of last quarter. It gives me like more or less than $2k from a few hundred of bucks but after I loss I decided to quit on gambling. Win, loss, win, loss, but sometimes i'm winning more so it's not that bad. After my last loss, I never cameback to gambling for how many months now.

Well it was just I have the same results as the previous years, It's a lost LOL!. Even though that I am always on the losing side I will still continue to gamble because of the thrill and fun it brings to me. Gambling is one of my stress reliever, I know this is odd because other people are stressed out when gambling but for me gambling is just a past time and always think that I will lose the money that I am playing with (Maybe this is one of the reason I am always losing).

Ain't you consistent in your winnings? I have experienced that too but just with games not in overall games that I played on. It's natural to lose but the mindset that you have is an advantage because you can control yourself better like that and that's a great thing to have. Be careful with the greediness, it might get you.

Well for me i didn't gamble until december and the results made me think i shouldn't have gambled at all that year. It was just a simple game of dice that i played out of boredom that ended up with me losing .05 btc is one go and .13 all in all. I really felt bad after that and i said to myself 2018 i'm not going to make the same mistake because of boredom

During the early days of participation into gambling, I was unable to leave gambling even when I experience loss. Later understood the real fact of being into gambling. The random wins kept me active into gambling. Later when calculated as a whole loss is much big. This made me give a break to gambling.

Well, if you ask me, the time that you guys spend playing gambling could have been used in a more constructive way. Gambling cannot give any money in most of the cases, which is for sure. As far as it is considered a way of entertainment, I don’t find any thrill in this game. Except poker, there is no game which demands skills of a person. It is all about luck. My sincere suggestion is to not waste 2018 playing this game.

Directbet indeed left us all and we hope  for their return if its possible someday. I am in profit and we are still in the middle of the season so i think I am going to even gamble the more this year because 2017 didn't make me a millionaire but has made me something decent to cheer about and run my day to day life with.

I am just being honest with you. In 2017, i really had a bad luck in planetwin365. I didn't even win once. Many times, i failed because of just one match and this deprived me from at least 100 euro each time. There was this one time that i will never forget. I had this ticket that will allow me to win 472 euro, but i failed because of one match,the one handball match between Quatar and Germany in the national cup. But in 2018, i did win 200 euro in this one month. And i hope that i will keep winning.

I cannot figure out wether I made it or not in 2017. Because I started playing in mars. That's why 70% of my losses are due to my lack of experience and my ignorance of the basics of the game and the site. Despite that, I won twice one 100 euros and another one 270 euros. Yeah, 2017 was amazing year for me, i have earned a lot of from bitcoin gambling, not only for gambling actually i did investment in bitcoin and it give me a huge profit, because of bitcoin price more than triple increased and it make our money more than triple, then in this way, my winning money from gambling also double. That's why i never forget 2017 year, it made my gambling career.

My 2017 gambling was so so. I had a few nice wins and also some not so nice losses. I try not to take gambling too seriously and only gamble what I am happy, is there truly a happy, amount to lose.

At least it is still positive in a way and there's no way that there's a nice loss because it's going to be hard. It's going to be hard if you try to make it seriously because you're going to be emotional about it.

2017 was pretty grim for me as I lost a good chunk of the signature campaign money in casinos during the first half of the year. At least I can proudly say that I rebounded during the second half, recovering most of the lost fortune and getting back on stable terms. Got a hang of the 'keep going' greed which used to drive me all the way till I ended up losing everything and can control myself from gambling money away.

The initial year was a bit rocky, it's always that way after making few small looses I was able to move on and make good profits. Then I slowed down for a while as I had funds planned for different activities. Overalls I had a memorable good year to remember and I'm glad it went that way.

Cool lucky streak there pal.  I wish I have that kind of luck.  I may win 1 day but then I will lose the next day.   It is very seldom to see a 12 days winning streak since gambling is a game of chance/luck.  There is no assurance that we can get a streak of win for 12 straight days but you did get it.  So what did you do?  Care to share your strategy here?  Or pm would be good.

2017 is a great year for me maybe because I don't spend much on things that I don't think will benefit me in future time though I gamble occasionally, I see to it that I am only using an amount I think I could avail to lose. I play betting site with a fix amount of capital each time and so far I earn profit from that, not that big but at least I did noy incurred loss. Hoping this year will be the same as last year.

Actually, I started Gambling with Bitcoins in 2017 itself. I have not made much profit but have learned a lot. First of all, I realized that 505 of casinos are scams and thus we should make proper research before joining one. Especially reading recent reviews of users on a neutral forum like this is very helpful. Also, I have better winnings with video slots for smaller amounts like $5 or so.

I can never forget about my failure in the year of 2017. I did not win any, i lost every bet the results were always negative and surprising. It was a good awesome year, however all of my winnings was recovered this early quarter of the year. it is total of 100$

That's one of the best moments to learn, experience. I have also read that kind of story and in the experience that you would encounter, you should be honest with yourself and know that you have weaknesses. Probably, you can get addicted or something. It was an unforgettable experience but I'm not going back because I'll buried it in the past.

I have a lot of tokens loses in 2017 ,because of dump price, but l  beleive this 2018 is my breakthrough that it will go back to me a thousand folds. Everything that is lost if you're faithful it will go back to you.l know that on the crash of bitcoin now it will bring us soon to a joyful life because we all bitcoiners will prosper  upon the increasing price of bitcoin. Everybody will be surprised soon and be thankful to bitcoin. Because blessings come and go like a journey.

I am also involved in gambling for fun. To earn from it or to completely rely on it, you have to master it and it will require a lot of dedication. Moreover, initially you will have to invest a lot of money in learning if you are trying with real websites. Otherwise, it is a good idea to practice on demo sites first where no deposit is required.

If this is your performance for a whole year and now you are getting happier over it, believe me you are running your life. This isn’t a big amount. Why you people don’t understand that gambling is not for earning money. Why you get it yourself that you are giving money to someone else, making him winner and losing your own hard-earned money. i had been experience lost and profit on that year but i think my gambling achievement for every year is not so different and i basically didn't pushed myself to gamble for everytime because i don't have much money to starting gamble too much but my gambling profit slightly better last year because i had several times won the parlays from sport betting 

It was frustrating than last year. Last year, I can still stop myself from gambling since I have a tight schedule, I can't even manage to have fun sometimes because of that schedule but this year, it changes and it gives me more time to gamble and I can't stop myself. I am lucky I have someone with me that stops me and limit my money whenever I go out.

Either you have been trying or so many times and always ending up with the same result that is a failure or it is just a part of your nature to be diffident about your results. I think that you must continue with the game but be bit more passionate and self reliant otherwise it is not gonna work at all.

You need to be in control else it would not take much time where you would get addictive and spend a lot of money in gambling . Chances of losing may be higher and you can lose out the money which you would later regret about it. Just play for fun and also be in limits to avoid the heavy losses.

Even playing for fun can make him Addict with the passage of time. For developing some sort of habit all you need to do is repeat that activity on daily basis. The best is to just leave this world of gambling behind and move on to something more constructive and valuable.

Good advice but it worked when he really follow it. I also have spend hard time in gambling but when i did control myself then since now gambling not disturb me, Even i feel enjoy whenever i play it the reason if you play gambling in really fun wise, then you could feel happy with it but if you play gambling only for win and earn money then gambling all the time creating troubles for you. 

To me very honestly i make some profit in last, year, although it was all against of my expectation because i do not have such saving in hand, but still i think that i invested some money in other business that i got from gambling. First i was thinking that  do not make any profit and remain as break through but later when i estimated the previous year, now i can say that i really make some money from gambling in previous year.

I made quite a profit last year, even though I only played or visited a casino 15 times last year. Though there were ups and downs if I were to calculate my expenses over my winnings I did quite earn. I'm not pushing my gambling to the limits, I don't chase after I lose, and I have to control my expenses. 2017 was a year full of ups and downs. Luckily for me, I had some significant winnings which I think is remarkable as when I bet most of the time I bet in the lowest possible amount. I had lost some dollars before the summer, later on I keeps on trying with the less bet .In June,I had a surprise. I had got 1000$ in a single game.This is the one of the reason people love to play gambling. If you made high bet you may lose more in a shot.Last year I had got back my entire loss in single shot.

2017 was a very good year for me, in fact it was the best year so far. In June I took part in a 1 BTC GTD poker tournament and won 0.17 BTC taking the third place. Had to wake up in the middle of the night to take part in the tournament but it was worth it. I was lucky that I had no time to gamble much afterwards so I proudly voted "Profit" in the poll. In the years before 2017 I was always losing to gambling, but fortunately not that much, maybe around $100-$150 per year, since I'm trying to never gamble with money I can't afford to lose.

I had an okay year last year but it was down from my previous year as I had an up and down year betting on sports. I was lucky that towards the end of the year I had a nice run of wins in September on my local Football league as it was the finals season so that is where I made up for my losses for the previous 8 months. So I ended the year with a small profit and so far in 2018 I have done well on the EPL mainly thanks to Man City winning a lot and scoring a lot of goals in their games.

I can say that it was both good and bad. Bitsler give me the feeling like that earning bitcoin there was so easy on my first plays. But eventually, I lost all that winnings and I'm also proud to myself that I did not play again.

For me I think gambling is not good. But when I'm on playing the lucky is going through my side.. There's a day that I'm loss, but there's a time to be lucky instead.

I can say that 2017 was the best year for my gambling activity, simply because I won some btc and I could buy a car and some other stuffs like smartphone and smart tv with the winning :) This is what I always do when I won in gambling, I'll use it to buy physical stuffs and not for food.
Obviously I wont be greedy to try to get more and more winning, I will just stay at the same limit no matter how much I won previously.

No way 2017 was the worst year in terms of gambling i was addicted to gambling for one moment and spend everything i earned on gambling but finally i was able to control myself and able to get back on track by saving as much as i could. 2017 was a bad year in terms of gambling but i was able to earn and learn a lot of important lessons in life

Actually i quits gambling now,because i have decided,that i change my habbit into a gym and sport,because i thinks i have no better future of this kind of online games co'z im always lose and my lucky pot is maybe in the future,that why all my excess time ,i put in monitoring in the trading investment value in the blockchain and my leisure  time into in sport like basketball and prt gym.

Good for you that you easily get away with gambling because other people can't leave easily. At least now you diverted into something that is like you care about your physical body. Gambling is good if you only do this rarely but sadly others can't resist with it.

In 2017,some of the bitcoin is lost.True to you,in 2017 I had loss many dollars in many games.Almost loss of my dollars in a consecutive  games.This years luck favor me to get some dollars. But it was very low to the loss of last year. Don't addicted when you loss some dollars .If you start to play get the loss dollars means, it will make to lose some more dollars.

Which you are invested bro and what game mostly play bro, If that might site internal teams hacking and some are best gambling site investor will find the little amount as a profit at least.
If you worry about the loss you should not worry that at all. Check the good betting site and invest on matches were players doing best as much your knowledge. Personally I did not invested many times on the gambling. May be some time play dice or betting on tennis matches.

Different people have different stories about 2017 related to gambling. To me 2017 was a comparatively a good year, even in 2018 i think i am balance position in current time but do not know in next fe months of 2018. Hope 2018 will be another good year regarding gamboling.

Mine is break-even. I seldom gamble last 2017 because I always have that hold back attitude because of the past incidents in the family. We became broke due to my father's gambling activity. Because of that I am very cautious when I gamble. So, last 2017 I can say I am just break-even.

All in all I gain some profit from it if I would sum all of the profit's and lost that I had in 2017.
