If it does then you don't need aftermarket cooler. Try v007 or v008 riser instead of riser that use sata to 6 pin adapter You only need 4gb of ram Never tried that psu not sure if you have enough connectors, make sure you have 6 x 6+2 pcie cable, 2 sata or sata + molex in 1 cable, you need 3 of those cable to power up 6 riser, it is not advisable to power riser via sata or some might say do not power more than 2 riser. You need a ssd or you gonna run your OS via usb drive? You didn't not mention what types of gpu you are getting, so not much advise can be made on psu. Title: Re: Spec Check Post by: StarLordRammi on January 24, 2018, 04:39:19 PM it'll be x5 RX 580 Sapphire Special Edition 8GB and x1 MSI RX 580 Gaming X 8GB
i'll reduce the ram to 4GB this one will do? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Crucial-DDR4-2400-PC4-19200-288-Pin/dp/B019FRDFU0/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1516811566&sr=8-4&keywords=4gb+ddr4 i was thinking M2 for Windows 10, can i run Windows 10 from USB? i guess i'll change the Risers to these? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bleev-Pack-Riser-extender-adapter/dp/B077QZ5K5W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1516811450&sr=8-1&keywords=007+riser i checked description for CPU and it says Cooler is indeed included so i'll remove that as well for mobo PRO BTC+ is showing £330.00 on Amazon so for now ill go with Asus 6 GPU setup? also ive switched x1 1200W to x2 750w PSU, seemed like a safer bet (bit more expensive yes) what about this setup now? http://amzn.eu/3HZBLN3 Title: Re: Spec Check Post by: andydis on January 24, 2018, 04:44:19 PM starlord,

Title: Re: Spec Check Post by: StarLordRammi on January 24, 2018, 04:55:30 PM most likely Amazon
using this script to monitor stock hxxps://www.ploggy.com one of the user on Reddit made it another quick question (not related to above build) at the moment i've got AX 750 PSU where i m using two of my RX 580s my MSI is drawing 110-130W Sapphire is drawing 70-80W Rest of the Specs are i7 3770k OC to 4.2GHz @ 1.128 V - Mining using CPU at 80% most of the time i have x2 PCI-e cables one is connected to each Card but MSI only uses 1x 8pin and Sapphire can also be run from 1x 8pin ive also got MSI GTX 670 that uses 2x 6Pin can i run MSI and Sapphire from same PCI-e cable with 8 & [6+2]8 (x2 GPUs from one cable) and use the second cable on GTX with 6+6 (1 GPU from one cable) Title: Re: Spec Check Post by: gotminer on January 24, 2018, 05:03:07 PM I used to say you don't need 8GB of RAM. Now that I have been running 4 rigs with 8GB of RAM for a week, I realize why people do it. The system just runs that much more stable. Things don't seem as laggy when I'm remoted in from another location either.
If you can spend a little more and get a Pentium CPU, I would do that too. I paid $40usd for my Celeron ... I think the Pentium was $52. It's not that much more money. Title: Re: Spec Check Post by: Kaimi on January 24, 2018, 05:06:37 PM Using 8Gb in my builds, mostly because of Windows. Also I'd recommend to install Enterprise LTSB edition, less space usage, rarer updates, no bloatware.
