Title: 0.5 BTC to get me out of a pickle
Post by: Pellefot on August 26, 2013, 09:20:02 PM
Hello dear sirs and madams.
I find myself in a bit of a pickle.

The pickle:
I need to pay for an online service and by being a bit sloppy and overlooking things i now stand to lose some content if i dont pay up very soon, within a day in fact  :o
As we know transfering money to an exchange and getting some sweet Bittys takes a few days that i dont have...
So i stumble in here and humbly look for a kind soul to unpickle me.

The loan: 0.5 BTC repayed within two weeks (will most surely pay sooner but giving myself ample time so i dont dissapoint) as 0.65 BTC. Is that fair enough terms for a picklesolver?
I hope so, and have prepared an adress to where funds can be sent:

Thank you for reading.

Ok.  First thing you have to do.

Find something that can easily be sold for at least $100 that you will send to the lender before you get your coins.  Tell us what it is, with pictures, and people will consider your loan request.

Bitinstant.com

Isn't their front page plastered with a we are going out of business are updating our site, gone bye, bye, notice?

Yes, yes it is.

But then again, there are still bitcoiners praising how bitcoin is anonymous (proven false), fee-less (proven false), non-seizable (proven false) and non-attackable by the establishment (proven false), so it's not really surprising that people still bring up services that disappeared months ago. Hey, there's still people pumping money into Mt.Gox while Karpeles is drinking cocktails in Cuba.

Ah this was a long shot, thinking strangers was gonna help out, my bad. The solution for me became Virwox and going from fiat->SLL->BTC, so im out of my pickle and have asked a mod to delete this thread.

Don't get us wrong, we might have lent to you if you lived near us and we could see you in person. However, statistically speaking, an account with 14 posts in the lending forum is likely to be a repeat scammer working under a new name, and continually funding those people in hopes of occasionally also funding an honest person is counterproductive.

Lock the thread. There is an option when you edit the first post to do so. Sorry you couldn't get a loan from anyone here.
