I installed GuiMiner today just to check out things. I followed all guides and I have it up and running, but I have one question I cant seem to find the answer for. I installed bitcoin-QT on my pc. It is up to date with the chain. Now, I then installed GuiMiner on the same PC and set it up for solo mining. It seems to be running at 30.6 Mhash/s. So far so good. I then installed the guiminer on another pc and set it up to connect to my first pc. It runs at 3.5 Mhash/s. In the GuiMiner interface however, it shows Difficulty 1 Hashes 11 after about 3 hours. On my main pc the Hashes stay at 0. Is this correct ? Just wondering why an older pc has the hashes number increase while a faster new pc still stays at zero. Thanks in Advance. |
