Title: How were you introduced to the bitcoin world? Post by: btcsuser12 on August 27, 2013, 09:29:47 PM I learned about bitcoins a couple of weeks ago when listening to an article on a cell phone app. I am relatively into current events/politics/tech (though admittedly not as technically proficient as the majority on this forum - I thought I was such hot sh*t rooting my cell a few months ago...cute) so I was surprised that it took me so long to stumble across an in-depth write-up about the new currency. How did the rest of you guys first hear about this? Friends? Boards? Serious connections? Just curious as I head into my second hour...
