Hi I am looking for a 5 BTC loan so I can pay for this deal without selling my LTC > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=279158.0

As the price of LTC has fallen so much in the last couple of days it makes more sense to borrow 5BTC and use LTC as collateral

This will have to be with a trusted member of the community as I will send 500LTC as collateral

So what I am offering is the full 5BTC back + $25usd worth of BTC after 30 Days


( will probably be less than a week but its always good to play it safe :) )  


I know I am not offering much of an interest rate but its not like it will be much of a risk to you as I will be sending double the value as collateral

Now if only more people had collateral when asking for large loans... then there would be less stupid in the Lending section.

I am the person that Zack is borrowing the BTC to pay. He has given me authorisation to post here. :)

We were planning on using John K escrow services for the transaction but he is unavailable at the moment. After seeing his efforts to acquire a loan and general communications I feel I can trust Zack.

I am therefore not going to use escrow for this transaction.

Zack will give me his address and I will place an order. When it has arrived with him the 5BTC should be sent to me.

You shouldn't, unless you planned to give him positive rep in case of peaceful resolution (which I would have done, if I were you).
"Don't give trust to people asking for it" sounds like a sane rule to me, still.

I was planning on leaving you feedback regardless so no point in me removing it. The feedback I left was accurate as well. I'd like to emphasize that asking for feedback does not make you a scammer, this was not a "trust loan" he made a transparent purchase of bike parts with another user on the forum. If you buy or sell things on any website people will generally ask for feedback afterwards and it is your choice whether to leave it or not.
