Over the past few months, we've been developing KoveredPay, the website and the smart contract. Shortly after the launch of KoveredPay, we realized that it wasn't something that people wanted. We believed that it was an experimental project from the start, hence we stayed away from token sale and opted-in for only an airdrop, it wasn't a great idea to play with users' money.

Unfortunately, the project didn't take off despite our and users' efforts. Today, with much sadness, we're announcing that KoveredPay will be shutting down in coming weeks. Over the airdrop, we used to take some $2 to $3 from users as withdrawal fees (we needed to burn gas to transact on Ethereum blockchain). We're now opening withdrawals for people who haven't used their deposited gas fees. We collected over $400 USD in user gas fees before turning to decentralized airdrop smart contract.

I think it's a great feature to be able to send a transaction that can be revoked or refunded,
 especially if there is some theft now, which can effectively recover the loss.
