After experiencing a peak of nearly 20 times in 2017, the spot price of the digital currency's flagship bitcoin fell on the first day of the New Year.
According to Luxembourg Bitstamp trading platform statistics, spot currency in January 1, 2018 lowest intraday fell below the $13000 mark, hit $12801.40, compared with last Sunday (the last day of 2017) deep closing down 7.8%, or $1078. Actually back than price was dumped even below $10k and currently it is struggling to gain support at $10k level. If that support will hold for next few days, reversal of downtrend is immenent. Many newbie investors are ready with their fiat to buy cheap bitcoins and other coins and they are just waiting for FOMO to kick in.
