Correct. You also get a personalized re-loadable card in the mail. You can register without your SSN/DOB but you MUST call them and speak to a representative, this means you can just give fake info if you choose. The next round I plan on buying some Vanilla visas to give an option for a card that does not have to be registered, I will have to charge $1 more as the Vanilla Visas cost more.
