Title: Asus B250 mining with 4 PSU Post by: Eneen on January 26, 2018, 06:57:25 PM I need more power :) so I though it might be possible to stack PSUs using such adapter:
https://www.dhgate.com/product/300set-pc-desktop-atx-24-pin-dual-psu-power/402218007.html It would be like this: - two "main" PSUs to section A and B - two "remote" PSUs to main PSUs and corresponding GPUs in sections A and B. Those remote PSU would then only power GPUs, nothing more, adapter doesn't send power to "main" PSU at all. Has someone done this? I've made such things before but here I've got additional atx24 connectors... Title: Re: Asus B250 mining with 4 PSU Post by: mikespax on January 26, 2018, 08:02:54 PM use server PSUs. they come in 2400w and 2880w flavors on ebay. instant on, doesn't need to be connected to your motherboard

Any clues about my config proposal? Title: Re: Asus B250 mining with 4 PSU Post by: mikespax on January 30, 2018, 08:00:24 PM Server PSUs are silent if you only use them at 50% load.
