I'd probably made a mistake by sending 650.299 CND to wallet address 0x1f7217b1FEE4B7877c465F82849C169Bea2a6! If that's the case - AND if the owner of this addres reads this - please, sent me back the tokens. That would be very honest! My wallet addres is 0x1644ca863e2698c61ff8c12da87221dfdc5e12c0

Well that is too bad. it is very highly unlikely that someone who ever owns that address will send you back your money just because of honesty. And if that someone is truly honest and want to give back the money how would that someone trust that you were really the person who sent the money to him? Sure you can provide logs of the transaction but logs can also be copied somewhere else. I would say by by for your money now if it was really your money. I would suggest to just move on and try to earn it back through legal stuff and may it be a lesson for you to double / triple check the address before sending anything. Sometimes learning experience comes with a hefty price and your were just hit with it.

My advise for you, don't hope that the amount you have wrongfully sent will be back to you even if the receiver had seen your post.

Now I know for sure, I have been hacked. There is a second victim on the spot who lost his 1,263.204558816 Erc20 (BAR) tokens to this unknown person:

Be careful using MyEtherWallet. Do not use your private key to log in! Use a hardware wallet instead!

Anyway, I might have to live with it as a good lesson.

^ Rescan your computer. you might be infected by a malware that pastes wallet address into hackers address.

For more security always check receiving address manually before sending it.

because many sites are scams circulating in MEW.

And if ever that slim chance will happen that he/she can be able to read this post, there is much ever less chance that the coins can be returned. In cryptocurrency just like the outside world we are living in a very dishonest world...well I think this is partly the reason why we have cryptocurrency to make some trust in a trustless society. I am suggesting to OP to just accept this fact and learn from this big lesson. I too have lost so many coins and tokens but to phishers who are good at what they are doing.

I try to search the eth address on the search box of bitcoin talk and it says that the text did not match to any text in this forum so that the owner of this etherium address is maybe not a member of this site the possibility is very low and the chance that you will be able to get that token is near zero. also try to google search it and nothing match.

That's very unfortunate, i don't think that he/she will give it back to you unless they are super honest.
Is there a way to contact the wallet's owner?
But in my opinion it won't be back anymore

Myetherwallet is safe , you need to scan your computer and maybe it's infected by malware , I don't think address owner will send you back tokens , he don't know who you are , how do you proof that tokens is your ? it's not a big amount , so maybe next time careful when send out your tokens

But how do you send that token to that wallet? It will be difficult to get that token back to you. Especially you do not know who knows who owns it. But I thought of a good idea. You can search the wallet address here on the Bitcointalk forum. Just look at the Market Place - Bounties Altcoins - and paste the address, if any owners that here in the forum.

Hope it helps!

If you count on the worst scenario, then most likely you will not be sent anything, but on the other hand, of course it is worth trying to find this person and try all the same to appeal to justice of his conscience. But I think that this will not work.

Exactly! How did you know that wrong address?., I mean how did you know that address is valid and that someone owns that?  I doubt that token would be sent back to you. Even if you post that publicly in social medias, twitter, fb and the likes no one would give a heck.

I don't think that owner of that address will notice or come through this thread did you check if that is an empty address? If that so, your coins will be lost forever or if not hope that the owner of that address has a conscience and send your coin back at you or try to search that address in bounties section or in forum to see who belongs that address and send a pm to return the coins and if he/she doesn't respond, post a scam accussation agains him/her

Best thing to is to move on and learn from your mistake! The chance of getting back your CND coins that you accidentally sent is very slim and its not likely to happen. It must be a lucky day for the receiver. Better be more careful next time.

I really dont know how it could happen. I just sent the tokens from Binance to Myetherwallet and the next day they where gone. I thougt it was a missending in first place. I used to log in with the private key, so I think that was the weak link.

I have searched the address via Google, but no results. There is no way to track down the wallet owner, I guess.

Ya absolutely agree with u sir that read all the articles of myetherwallet for safe transactions. And also double checked the provided address where u send the fund. If your fund is big then broke in 2-3 portions. First send little bit of amount. If it reached safely to the address then go for the big one. If not then re-examined the address and send again. This is safe & secure method for transferring the fund.

With that said most likely you were hacked and your wallet is compromised there isn't any other explanation.
Forget about tokens lost, run antimalware scan and don't use that wallet any more.
Be very careful with links, phishing sites are everywhere. Bookmark mew and use metamask.

If the guy sees this and wants to send the money back. He can send it to the same address where he received it.

Some facts of the transaction that took place:
https://ethplorer.io/address/0x1f7217b1fee4b7877c465f82849c169bea2a6f6b
https://ibb.co/jE27ib

Where is this wrong address from? isnt it an address you input by yourself? i think there is no way can you find the cnd back, sad story.

I thought it was a missending in first place, but when the transaction took place I was at work. There is also another guy complaining. That means I am not the only one who has lost his tokens. ....which is why a bit of paranoia wouldn't hurt in this kind of system or any kind of system that involves money! Always, always double, triple, or even for the fourth time check, confirm, validate your address/es. This wouldn't take much of your time. Better to use up a few minutes of your time checking your transactions than losing a fortune. Don't let stupidity run or dictate your way of thinking.

Tough luck buddy...It is unlikely that this person would even consider returning your tokens. Be wise or be stupid,  either or. In this case,  you were the latter. Let this be a learning experience for you so as not to repeat it. Which is why I am quite paranoid in my transactions I triple check everything before clicking the send button. Better to be paranoid but sure than careless and stupid.

sorry to hear this but sometimes the person maybe  a bounty hunter or so and so if you google the wallet address you may find it in a spreadsheet with his/her details if lucky.Make sure to get a hardware wallet as the amount involved in getting a hardware wallet is very small compared to what you may lose to a hack should that be the case.

You're most likely out of luck.  I highly doubt it will be returned to you.  Next time double or triple check the addresses before you make a transaction.  Good thing is it's a small amount as of now, not sure how much those tokens will be worth in a few years but just forget about them and move on.

This is absolutely hacked, no one will arbitrarily transfer to a strange address.
Be careful to protect your private key, if you use MyEtherWallet you have to be careful fishing site, so if the amont is small, I suggest you use imtoken or jaxx better.
Of course, hardware wallet is definitely another good choice.

I already did a "research" but cant find anything except the transaction what took place. Well, that lucky guy might be laughing now...but for how long?
