Title: Who will lead blockchain 3.0?
Post by: Callahan93 on January 26, 2018, 11:21:26 PM
I see numerous new ICO's and existing projects that claim to be blockchain 3.0 etc.
However which one do we think will be the leader in 2018?

Different 3.0 blockchains solve different problems. I have heard that Aion (https://coincodex.com/crypto/aion/), Icon (https://coincodex.com/crypto/icon/), and Wanchain (https://coincodex.com/crypto/wanchain/) are going to form a partnership. Besides those three Cardano (https://coincodex.com/crypto/cardano/) and Aeternity (https://coincodex.com/crypto/aeternity/) look promising.

And the latest news about arcblock claimed to be the new blockchain 3.0
But my thought that they are trying to work on the same area. I think that there will be no a lot of difference between one and other project. aeternity works on oracle, but i don't understand about the development progress of cardano.

ArcBlock seems a bit shady and it's overhyped atm. I would prefer to wait how it's gonna do on exchanges first.

Be careful with these blockchain 3.0 promises. Most of them are still on a concept stage with no working product available. The risk is huge with such projects. I wouldn't mind them if it was a year ago and the whole crypto market was valued at $20B, but now, I believe they are already very overvalued for their current stage of development.

Who knows, maybe the next new coin is blockchain 3.0 promises, but do not trust the promises of those people because no one is sure whether his coin is going to be detected by time.

for me its EOS. It will become the most fastest user friendly blockchain for all.

Lets just wait a little more months.  ;)

I'm wondering what is really difference between blockchain and blockchain 3.0? Just marketing thing? Next year we will see another big promises and yet another blockchain 4.0  :)

One of the big features is cross-blockchain meaning that you can transfer tokens between chains. One of the main Aion (https://coincodex.com/crypto/aion/) features is cross-blockchain.

What i read article is that. IOTA will be the "3.0". But who knows.
Do your research, maybe the writer bought huge amounts of it before he published.

You believe a coin will be blockchain 3.0 should not be what they claim. That's just an advertisement. Before the emergence of the real 3.0, are speculation. I think ripples and Ethereum is still more likely.

I think arcblock might be a good contender for block chain 3.0.
Because what arcblock wants to do is change the entire cryptocurrency market, just as EOS wanted to do.
I'm very optimistic about arcblock and EOS.

IOTA will definitely be the leader, But it is going to take at least a year to be there, 2019 will be the game changer for them. I have invested on them and it is going to be a long term HODL for me.

if this is true i will be very happy. I hold AION token and i believe this might further pump up the price

I think Arcblock is also into this blockchain 3.0 of a thing. leading depend on any of the ICO that have highest investors but ICO that already done with crowdsales and working toward realizing the next stage of the roadmap will have greater chance of leading compare to those one that are still doing pre-ICO or crowdsales

There are many promising projects, but only the one that will be invested by large investors will take off. If you have an insider information, then I will listen to it with pleasure)

I think the Ethereum is a better invest, the Blockchain 3.0 is a technology which can change the world,
the ripple was control by the big company, they had more cash to develop the project,so the ripple also was worth to invest.

yes arcblock I have my eyes on it, it does not look shady to me but surely very much hyped at the moment. I am also waiting for it to hit exchanges and see how it moves.

I think it's too early to talk about blockchain 3.0, it is unlikely to appear soon, as there are many problems for its implementation, but this is only a matter of time. But the leader seems to me among all who want to do this is in my opinion Arcblock.
