Well that's pretty much the price of not reading the sticky and giving out a no collateral loan out of the blue

You posted in the wrong section. You shouldve posted in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0 and also let it be a lesson to you make sure to obtain collateral and do research on the user and not go based on their rank.

Just did a small look around and noticed you dealt with BitcoinMarshal in the past. I do find it very weird on why he would deal with you again after those events. However, you should move this to the proper section (which I posted above).

I am curious about if BitcoinMarshal will respond and and if so what he would have to say about this.

Sure but things doesn't add up. The due date was supposedly 20th of January and you didn't respond well past the due date. Your loan post was edited on 22nd of January [1] and you requested a loan on 23rd of January [2]. Trying to get a loan from two different lenders simultaneously is shady, at least.

I got less than what I had spent. I sent 0.025 btc + transaction fee but I got back only 0.025. I clarified earlier that I was not asking any interest but transaction fee on both ends should be covered.

Bitcoinmarshal should be refunding the full amount including the lender's tx fees. I think it's fair since the lender is not even asking for any interest on the loan but rather to just recoup what he spent on the situation.

But glad that the majority of the loan has been repaid, albeit being late many days. The tx fees is trivial compared to that.

BTW, wasn't the collateral bitcoinmarshal's account? Did you not take it as collateral the whole time, even though it was listed as the collateral for the loan?

I did not take the account during that time. Hopefully, it will be resolved shortly. Thanks
