I am a bounty hunter, but I have to admit that spam in the forum is not from non-quality posts but from bounty reports. So, I'd like to think that the bounty campaigns need to be reported on a Google spreadsheet and not made reply topic on the forum. This will make the forum cleaner. If we do well, we will not need merit.

Lol, bounty reports are NOT the cause of spam. The cause of spam are bounty hunters like you, who are posting shitloads of crap without any value to make enough posts/rank up to get paid more.

This could be implemented and users filling out google forms for bounties has been suggested before but we still need the merit system. Bounty spam is currently confined to their own threads and boards whereas signature spam is spread out all over the forum and this is why we need the merit system (or something like it) to help curb that or more importantly reward quality contributions. More measures still need to be put in place to curb spam of all kinds though (bounty, bots, sig spam etc) but bounty spam is far from the only cause of spam and is probably the least of the issues right now, but nice try  :D.

Well I see this as a part of advertising their product since the thread will bump every time bounty hunters posted their work, but I don't think this is the real cause of spam since its just located on one section. Bounty hunters who post shit things are the real spammer and this merit system will help you to make some quality post and not just focusing on making money here.

But it must be acknowledged that if the bonus reports are diverted through Google spreadsheets, it will reduce the worthless posts.

The reports are only the tip of the iceberg. If there would not be any reports at all, that would help.
