Hey guys,

I hope thats the right place for this topic, if not, please be so kind and just move the thread ! :)

I was wondering, how much a translator for Cryptoprojects earns on average, I mean I know that they get paid in Coins/Token, but maybe there is a translator reading this who could give me a rough overview :)

I am asking, because I study German and English at a university here in Germany andI have way too much time in my spare time.

Have you ever tried to go to the table with the translators and see it yourself? All tables are free and you can see how many tokens they get

Spreadsheets are public as is the tokens price.

Check few past campaigns and use a calculator. Then you will find out alone.

All spreadsheets I saw yet had no details about how much every translator got, but thanks for your replies, I will search for some :)

In what translation campaign you are in currently? There are stakes which you can see before taking the translation so you are aware on how much you'll get after sending the translation to the manager. You'll be also the one to compute depending on the token reward that will be given to you, how much it worth and how many tokens you'll get. But with this type of campaign https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2706090.0 you can see that they will pay you $100-$200 worth in BTC so rates aren't the same.

I dont know the rates for some fixed translation jobs but since we are talking about translations on bounty programs then this thing would be entirely depending on a certain price of an altcoin when it hits on exchanges and also the total percentage allocation on translation bounty. Most of campaigns i do saw translation allocation is somehow between 20-30% depending if you are doing whitepaper or ANN thread trans.

It differs from project to project. Both what I have seen, it is around ~500-600 USD in case of Bounty campaign with fixed worth in tokens. In case of Bounty campaign based stakes on participation points called stakes , I would say it can it can go far higher than 500-600 USD but then again it totally depends upon the market price of token.

The best paid translation canpaigns are on the Service section for my opinion and paid in BTC.

They are rare there, but good paid. Translaters are also searched without campaign. If I had your translatiion skills, I would create a thread into service section. Look also to german local board. Devs search there for translaters. Also german article writers are wanted from time to time.
The prices vary. In bounty section I would only choose short translation orders or longer ones for portfolio/experiences. The prices of tokens are prefictional and not sure, as long as you can't trade them on exchangers.

If I was a famous translator because I have a good translation skill in any language, the prospective project came to me to use my service. My income is based on how much that I want to. <- usually paid in bitcoins or ethereums. (avg. 100-200$ per translation)
If I wasn't quite famous enough to be a translator, I came to a project that needs a translation service. My income is based on how much they want to pay me. <- usually paid in tokens or stakes. (avg. 20-1000$, depends on what the project is and how famous the project is)

Most of the bounty campaigns will pay the translation bounty in fixed tokens not like stakes payment but the value of token may fall or rise after the ICO sale so there is high risks in recieving tokens as payment because we don't know what will be the real value of the tokens.
