Title: [MERIT] Just found a small bug
Post by: Woshib on January 27, 2018, 05:12:14 PM
When you merit someone then refresh the page, it will give him the merit another time.

You're about to get a load of (2) merits by people testing it out on you (like me) :P

Can confirm the "glitch" now, although one can argue how much of a glitch it is.

Lock this thread. "Bug" was already found.

Not sure about the "double click" bug, but someone reported a similar outcome through refreshing the page (MERIT BUG (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2821267.0)).
Both bugs are because of the same principle. You're sending the same request twice. Clicking once = 1 request. Refreshing/clicking again = 2 requests.

It's similar to that of giving out trust (try clicking it twice) or double-clicking a report submit button.

Has been discussed many times but what's new in your post "your post itself". No one ever made a thread on it.  :D

I was like let's try, it is still there? I clicked the merit button and it was like stop trying me and start using me.  ;)

Ok, locking this.
