I am considering convincing my university to mine bitcoin on their supercomputer. 21,000 CPUS might get you ~30/gh, depending, at a REDICULOUSLY inefficient cost/watt ratio. If you used that thing to try to mine BTC you would be basically be throwing money into a hole. edit: my bad, looks like it has 16 GPU cores. However, you could convince them about learning about Bitcoin & then using this to generate income and educating others about the machine and how Bitcoin works. Depends how awesome the university is I guess.
