hi everyone, ethereum price already touch 0.1 BTC

and i believe ethereum price will break 0.2 BTC

what do you think guys ?

Why u think so? IvanLibre ( famous trader from Trading View).He predict 2600$ for 1 ETH. Based on TA/FA and Btc future growth.
But i don't see any reasons why it can hit 0.2 BTC. Miners will be happy if that happens.

I read some article today on forbes and it said that ETH has better future then bitcoin and ripple..

I think that today's short-term growth of Ethereum, will not be able to influence and bring Ethereum to the price of 0.2 btc.

of course it will go up, eth is moving faster then BTC.

It went up to 0.15 2-3 months ago and then fell to 0.5. Nothing is definite in the crypto market. But I hope.

If the ETH is 0.2 BTC, then it will be the largest market cap.

when eth price was about 0.04-0.05 btc i said and wrote here many times that eth will be 0.1 btc and today eth has reached 0.1 btc. why ? cuz ethereum is used by hundred of thousands. there are about 800k transactions on eth network everyday. There are many altcoins based eth and many new ICOs again based eth network. not just this eth will go POS in this year. those are good sign to see eth could make 2x and it did.

Now we are talking about 0.2btc.. even there are many good news about eth i still dont think eth can reach 0.2 btc easily but if btc stays about $10k-$11k than eth can reach 0.12-0.13 btc but if btc start to rise and reach stay around $15k or more than 0.1 btc would be good enough .

If you says Eth price will touch $2k soon than the answer can be different too. Than i would say for long term Eth will reach first 2k than easily around $3.5k . it wouldnt be hard for eth..

why risk your money in eth for maybe 50% gains when you can make 50000% gains on the next raiblocks? spacecoin got zero fees like raiblocks and privacy but still extremely cheap, easy x100 when promoted by mcafee and others soon, thank me later.

I read somewhere that there is expected attacks against ETH from China to their NY in 15 days. So I guess we will see it at 0.2, but not in next 30 days.

There is a chance that ETH will hit 0.2 BTC, but the only question is when  ;). There are new developments on the way for ETH, most important one is the Casper protocol. If this goes well than the price will get another pump for sure.

I am very confident in that because Ethereum will grow very strongly this year. As many investors start worrying about the future of bitcoin, Ethereum is where big investors focus. Before ETH hit that for sure it will correct, since bitcoin will start pumping now but I believe it can hit that price this year because a lot of good speculation about ETH this year. ETH is a good technology that can really go before bitcoin, so better to study more on this and try to hold more.

If the price of Ethereum goes up to 2200 dollars, it does not seem impossible. It's obvious that it's a realistic goal. But the rise of Bitcoin has to be stopped.

He is not saying today it will happen but it will be very soon. Bitcoin is already most valuable currency to all the people so diversification is always important to hold our money into different currency.

It may touched before Q2 ends of 2018. Good thing still have some ETH left on my MEW wallet  8) gonna buy more.

I think it's possible since ETH is offering more functionality/utility than bitcoin at the moment. It's faster and cheaper as a means of wealth transfer, and its Smart Contract capabilities are second to none. In fact I'd say there's a good chance its market cap could soon overtake BTC.

I think for ETH to be 0.2 BTC can be reached by the end of 2018 if ETH grows as usual..

This is the best answer,, if 0.2 bitcoin won’t change this year then the possibility of ethereum to reach that is high but as we know that bitcoin price will surely surge high again and the value of 0.2 will be so huge that it won’t or maybe eth need more time to touch.. People in this thread talk about Ethereum price will reach 2200usd and 0.2btc. Are you serious guys? 0.2btc will not always equal to 2200usd because I am sure the Bitcoin price will increase soon so it will be very hard for Ethereum price to reach 0.2btc but not impossible. Also if Ethereum hit 0.2btc then it will surpass Bitcoin in market cap

If we consider bitcoin's price progress it might hit that very soon but once bitcoin start to pump up again i think .1 btc will be atleast the consistent when both are pumping.

If the btc continues its sideways and bearish trend that it is undergoing from few weeks then no wonder Eth will keep rising, but personally i think that btc will soon be back up and up.

you're right, 0.1 BTC will be a psychological level for eth, so the price now is in concolidations in my mind,
when its break up it will hit the ATH of eth/btc then a little corrections will be happend first, after that the price will go to 0.2

This year my projected price for Ethereum is $2000, but people should not be dilusional to think the price will keep growing because few weeks ago the price was $300, and they should expect some of this ICOs to start converting their Ether stash to fiat soon

Yes its possible to hit 0.2 btc but i think it takes time to reach that price we all knonw that eth reach .12 btc last year but the btc price low that time

I believe in this because Ethereum is receiving tremendous support from the cryptocurrency investment community. Things are really good with Ethereum so it's very easy to add value. ICO projects developed on the basis of ERC20 will help ETH to have a very good position for long-term investment.

Yes I think eth is capable of passing 0.2BTC In This year cause the price of the beginning of the year is very promising,I have hodl some eth to sell when it has reached 0.2BTC I will buy again tomorrow to add some more then I hodl repeated thinking there will be correction. Cheers

Ether is strong and used in thousands of projects and tokens. Bitcoin is under attack every day.

Even when the price of bitcoin getting into minor fluctuations causing drop in value ethereum still stays above without much of loss in value. Periodically price too grows. In this way ethereum might get equal to 0.2 btc soon, also this being an year of altcoins it'll grow even when bitcoin grow in value.

Ethereum is still holding strong even the market is down.  Ethereum  can make it to 0.3 btc in two months.

it will surely touch 0.2 btc, hopefully in 3-4 months , that's why need to invest more ETH , it will go to the moon soon. it was only 333$ when it started trading and then now it is 1.1k $ .But don't only focus on ETH  there is many altcoin, now that really make you big profit .

Maybe that would happen on the last quarter of 2018 since those times all cryptocurrencies keeps pumping bit who knows? Maybe in just due time it will happen since bitcoin is dumping that hard. When btc market settles surely ethereum will cross the mark of 0.2 btc. From many days eth price is consolidating at 1000$, so there I huge possible chances to increase its price.

I believe ethereum can touch that level and maybe will goes to 0.25 or 0.3 in juni casper update also near and we need eth to stake for getting more ethereum. I hope casper also can help the network problem so we can see ethereum network faster after update. I also see vitalik back to focusing on ethereum development not to chinese start up again.

I strongly believe Eth will touch 0.2 BTC soon or even more. Altcoin this one is a hot conversation on various sites, especially now that many bitcoin users who switch their investment into Eth (exchange Btc to Eth) can be said Eth has an important role now. Maybe even the price of Eth will touch $3k in next March, we all really hope it will.

No doubt about it , Eth could reach more then 0.2 as the way Eth gaining power from their community , So buy And Keep Hold and Hodl .

I do not know, it seems I'm confused to decide my choice. because I think the eth will be stable in its current price which is about 10% of bitcoin price. but i always hope that eth price will keep going up

I believe that 0.2 BTC can be before the end of this year. The number of ico on the etherium is growing, improvements are planned. Perhaps earlier, it is difficult to predict.

I believe if one day eth price reaches 0.2 btc and it will happen, but for now it is still too difficult. we can only wait for the best eth moment until the highest price. predicted until the end of 2018 could touch 0.2 btc it will happen.

Since bitcoin moved to a roller coaster I became Eth believer. Even now, look at prices of this two currencies, Btc lost thousands and thousands of dollars just per couple days, but Eth wasn't. Yes, the price for Btc is much higher than for Eth, but at least the second one doesn't make people to drink calming pills.

There is still no need to drink calming pills when you just believed on FUDS, there are graphs spreading in this forum that its normal that btc drops and soon will recover, having Eth is a must too, so whenever situations occurs don't panic and make another fuds better take the opportunity to buy more possible coins and hold them till they developed.

Bitcoin and Etheryum have different functions. Bitcoin is global currency and Ethereum is ecosystem for creating decentralized applications.

I don't think it will happen. When BTC price is 9k USD ETH have to go to 1800 USD to see 0.2 BTC. I think if Bitcoin drops more ETH will follow. If Bitcoin rises ETH also rise but it can't go up faster than Bitcoin.

Its possible but it takes time there’s no easy road for eth to hit this kind of level. Eth is a good coin that can create profit for you. Buy more because eth will follow the footsteps of bitcoin and soar high this year, just wait for it be more patience because eth offers great technology so its really possible.

Last summer's ETH/BTC high is around 0.15. It can easily go to that and after that new high to 0.2 is

Well i guess that is possible. Ethereum is the second rank after the bitcoin in the Coin Market Cap and there is a chance that this ethereum will reach up to 0.2 BTC and who knows it will also increase higher than that.

I think this is possible only after scaling solution will be out (PoS + maybe sharding). PoS will limit supply really big scale!

Especially now that many were shifting in ethereum since they got too panic on bitcoin price so it's really possible that it'll reach such amount early.

This is a positive signal for investing in coins, indeed the ethereum this one has great potential to be able to soar high and even could have been the longer it will be able to compete with bitcoin.

The articles I have been reading about Ethereum are always optimistic about its future. Even experts think that Ethereum will manage to surpass bitcoin in a matter of time. And to be honest, I really agree with these articles and experts because Ethereum is stable and does not have any kind of problems related to the transactions or high fees unlike bitcoin. Perhaps this is temporary, but I hope it maintains its policy this way for a long time.

You're right, which we can say that ethereum is one of the stable crypto currency. Each weeks or even months bitcoin getting low unexpectedly and its possible that ethereum will reach up to 0.2 BTC soon which make sense on both performance of the two crypto currency. Aside on their popularity and value as it was already been know before, ethereum is the one of the strongest coin over bitcoin but as of this moment it doesn't have yet reach the value of bitcoin as I believe it will be reach 0.2BTC soon.

Damn it dude, there is no inflow in the markets, there are more outflows rather. Eth going to 0.2BTC is going to be a long road, so don't have such dreams and expectations.

Now the value is goes down than the 1k USD now. Since they already lost their trade mark value. I really loosing hope in investing ethreum and other cryptos. Like all the time bitcoin will recovered better in the marketplace again but others being under question only.

I am mining ethereum only but difficulty also increased more in this time. If the price value recovered I will happy in that aspect alone not looking to invest and buy it.

but in BTC terms eth price is still above 0.1BTC,

I also think ETH can reach to 0.2 BTC/ETH but it'll take really long :)). Maybe next year at least :). Maybe ETH price can increase to 2000 - 3000 or maybe even more in this year but BTC price also increases as well so the price or pairing ETH/BTC only can reach to 0.2 BTC/ETH when Bitcoin stable for a long time while ETH pice keep increasing quickly :). Now the market is in big fluctuations and it is not possible right to predict about the ETH in the condition. I think there is a huge when the market settles and it will take another 2 or 4 months to reach that price.

Actually, I do not care about Ethereum price and it is development. I only care about how much Ethereum I can collect and collect Bitcoin as much as possible. If the price of Ethereum will become 0.2 Bitcoin soon, then I will be grateful. But if the price of Ethereum go down so low, then I will be grateful too. I will always be grateful until I can collect so much Ethereum that I can sell. But I will not sell recklessly, I will wait for so long time to see for the price development. Yes, it's truth. ETH is a platform with a lot of tokens and projects on the board, so it have better future adoption and using. But 0.2 BTC for 1ETH - it's too much. Can u imagine that someone can be top 1  instead of BTC?

This thread is like guessing the price that does not know the origin of where the number is.

I think that's possible due to the demand that Etherium is getting in the market as well as in ICOs. Investing into it will be a good idea that will yield to huge profit. Chances are high that it won't only be 0.2 but higher.  If the increase at this moment will be continuous, huge profit will be earned by those who will invest to etherium.

I think eth has reached its bottom for now.  There was no real reason for the drop except the general drop in prices of crypto and especially btc.  btc dropped to 25% of its price which seems like a bottom too.  I'm not expecting everything will turn to 'normal' (the ATH, which isn't normal in fact) very soon but it reminds me very much of the 2014 crash of btc.  From 1k to $200 in a few days/weeks, then months/years of horizontal movement with a small up trend.  I tink we might see the same now.  But the market needs to calm down.  And I think it will in the next days.  I was too busy working when eth reached about 600 today which was a pitty because I would have bought.

It would be really great if we can reach 0.2 btc per ether, I think I am going to cash out before than. At 0.17 btc per ether the marketcap of ethereum is going to be higher than bitcoin, this is what they called the flippening on r/ethtrader. Ethereum has done very well and I think it has outperform bitcoin in so many ways.
