Chartbuddy is one reason the MtGox hardcore wall thread is my default thread at Bitcointalk, especially since he reduced his charts to thumbnails.

Chartbuddy's wonderful graphically clear charts are right up there behind i286, CM, and Bitcoincharts for demonstrating what's happening to noobs and other laymen.

Good luck with this thread, though. The more options the better.

Personally, I find pompous self-important TA charts to be more annoying.

To each his own, I guess. TA is at least interesting. I think the importance people place on walls is way overblown. I just like the wall thread for the chatter.

Personally, I find TA boring (and somewhat meaningless in a market as small and lacking liquidity as Bitcoin) but find wall dances entertaining.

I definitely come here for comedy and entertainment, not market "wisdom", although sometimes some of the smarter posters surprise me.

More importantly, this thread does not have the words MtGox USD in the title.

The less newcomers associate Bitcoin with MtGox the better.

I don't see very large buys on those screenies.

5k on Gox and 1.5k on Stamp is about 10% of the ask orders. I'm happy with that  :D

Are you so sure about the "weak hands" running out of coins? Looks more like the "weak hands" are running out of people to hold the bags.

But I hope its like a repeat of breaking the 125 wall. So far its quite similar. A retreat into the high 130's would make it pretty much perfect, but I cant see us hitting 138 and stabilizing there like before @ 118/119. The market is much more ready to move down at these prices.

The number of coins for sale is going down. The same happend last summer when the price went from 5 to 15 and at the start of this year. It's happening again.

I don't think Coinsetter is "big, big news". They stated yesterday that the launch for international customers is a few weeks away.

Whether arbitrage or manipulation, it is doing a damned good job of holding the price down. But its inconsistent and the price always manages to creep up in the times its off.

Just a problem with such extreme low volume I guess on Mt Gox.  Someone selling 1 APPL share on NASDAQ every 10 seconds would be irrelevant.

It's amplified by the fact that BitStamp probably (I'm not positive) still follows Mt Gox.

Arbitrage.  It buys on stamp.

Saturday night and the ask volume on Gox, Bitstamp and BTC China is down through the day. I'm lovin' it  ;D
