BFL is a company so there are some limited liability to the people involved. But there is nothing stopping the CEO and upper management to go to jail if convicted. Also the company has to shut down if it is bankrupt and then the customers has claims to the money they have paid. For sure I think they are operating in a legal gray area with all the broken promises / lies / the way they treat customers and denying people to cancel orders that are dragging out months and years.
